I wasn’t going to say anything about the recent Gillette advertisement; I felt like everything had been said already. But then I realized the whole ad was based on a common left-wing claim that men don’t know how to handle themselves around women.
It got me thinking about how political correctness forces you to lie, forces you to make huge generalizations about people and act with a political agenda in mind.
It’s a system that goes too far, and the obvious solution is replacing political correctness with a basic understanding of proper etiquette.
Gillette could have addressed respect for others in a better way than just pandering to the left and feminism.
