Saskatchwan’s Brad Wall is the best premier in Canada. The other day on Twitter, he tore to shreds The Leap Manifesto — that socialist environmentalist fantasy that would shut down pretty much all oil and gas. It’s promoted by millionaire jetsetters Naomi Klein and Avi Lewis.
Wall and Klein had a Twitter fight, so Global TV thought they’d do a news story on this exchange. Fair enough — I am too, I guess.
But I’ll show you three short clips from what’s got to be the dumbest political attack ad I’ve ever seen.
Because that’s what this news story was from Global — an attack ad.
First they say, “The Leap Manifesto was put together by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission”.
That’s absurd. How could this Global reporter have said that, and her cameraman, and her editor, and her producer, and the webmaster, and everyone else at Global not known the difference between the two?
Believe it or not, this segment gets even more embarrassing for Global as it goes on.
You have to see it!
I just hope their viewers — however many are left — are a bit more attentive to the world around them than the left-wing hacks trying to drag down Canada’s best premier.
