Globe & Mail columnist hopes Conservative immigration minister is haunted by ghosts of dead children

Dean SkoreykoRebel Blogger

You really have to wonder how full of insane hatred you have to be in order to say this:

Trying to blame Conservative immigration minister Chris Alexander for the deaths of two young Syrian boys trying to escape with their family from the murderous ISIS like this is the vilest thing I’ve ever seen from the Canadian media. It’s hard to shock me on how low the media will go but Southey has set the new standard.

Southey doesn’t really care about people dying overseas fleeing these Islamic extremists, she cares about using their deaths to attack politicians she hates.

Good more people need to say this. The policy of restricting imigration to a number set by politicians is stupid, and undemocratic. It makes no sence ecconomically and it is immoral to restrict people’s movement based on where they are born. In the 1930’s Germany encouraged Jewish emmigration, but countries like Canada, USA, and Cuba severely limited immigrants from this regime. Had we not had restricted immigration and quotas, millions of lives could have been saved from Nazis and Communists. Today we should allow immigation not try to be world police.

And I thought Mulcair and Trudeau hit a new low by trying to smear our PM with the blame of the little boy that washed up on the beach. But this. What a brain dead, disgusting, narcissist, Prog!

why is anyone surprised the mop and pail and torstar are partners in the completely ignorant shthole known as CP..what is ironic is that the cbc even with 1000s of taxpayer funded employees subsidizes cp/torstar/mop on a daily basis ..

F@#k me – what a vile and repugnant cow. Could you imagine making such a disgusting statement OUT LOUD? This cretin clearly has no problem with it.

She is a disgusting POS and not worthy of being called a journalist. There really are no depths to which these people will not sink. Dean, you could not have said it better. What gets me is the number of re-tweets. The longer this election campaign goes on, the more disappointed I become with my fellow Canadians who swallow this kind of crap. To actually invent this stuff in order to politically bash Alexander shows that they have absolutely nothing legitimate to say on the real issues that should concern Canadians every day.

Of course, it’s Canada’s fault that refugees are dying in leaving their countries. Maybe if we tried to fix the problem and not the consequences there might not even be tragic deaths in the first place. Progressives seem to take the position that wars are inevitable and therefore we should accept this as fact: they offer no solutions to prevent conflict but only to pick up the pieces once conflict begins. These people are not realists who are not prepared to take steps to eliminate “root causes” of wars.
