Going nuclear: How Australia can become a “global energy superpower”

Mark LathamRebel Host

Australia's Liberal and Labor parties have lost the plot on energy policy.

After the South Australian experience, where they couldn’t keep the lights on, we can’t run the risk of going beyond 25% renewable energy.

Yet the Turnbull Government’s Finkel Report wants nearly 75 per cent renewables by 2050.

With the decline in coal-fired power, Australia lacks the energy supply to drive down prices and offer industry and consumers energy security.

As a resource-rich nation, Australia should be a global energy super-power.

The obvious answer is nuclear:

An affordable energy supply with no carbon emissions.

We sell the uranium to other countries instead of using it here.

Labor and Liberal have crippled the Australian energy industry.

It’s time to take off the restrictions and let all energy sources flourish.

In Canada we have such a plethora of dab-smack off-the-deep-end leftie socialist environuts that it is real hard to nominate just one.

Yes, Justine Trudeau.
For sure, Elisabeth May.
Beyond a shadow of a doubt, Gerald Butthead.
And then there is Premier Nutjob in Alberta.
Most of the NDP cabinet in Alberta & BC.

But the winner for me is Tzeporah Berman who claims oil corrodes pipeline and our democracy among other crackpot remarks.

Elizabeth May takes the cake. (and wine) Her plan was charge all Companies a 5% pollution tax, and take the money to pay student loans.

The Australians fell into the Maws of Socialism long ago, it would appear that they are beginning to wake up. If they go Nuclear, that is. The UK is almost as bad, they often vote Labour and end up regretting it.

The largest Nuclear Power Plant in the world, is now being built in the UK, financed by the Chinese and no doubt at very high interest rates.

It has been found that Wind Turbines create vibrations in the ground that are so bad that even the Bacteria, necessary for plant growth migrates away. This means that eventually nothing will grow in the fields of Wind Farms. Take note Notley, Wynne and trudeau.

Mark,

Didn’t even have to leave the Rebel site to give you a contender.

NDP MLA for Alberta, Rod Loyola LOVES Hugo Chavez’s socialist models for Venezuela, even AFTER the country was in meltdown.

Sorry, Mark, but obviously you haven’t met our Prime Minister.
