Australia's Liberal and Labor parties have lost the plot on energy policy.
After the South Australian experience, where they couldn’t keep the lights on, we can’t run the risk of going beyond 25% renewable energy.
Yet the Turnbull Government’s Finkel Report wants nearly 75 per cent renewables by 2050.
With the decline in coal-fired power, Australia lacks the energy supply to drive down prices and offer industry and consumers energy security.
As a resource-rich nation, Australia should be a global energy super-power.
The obvious answer is nuclear:
An affordable energy supply with no carbon emissions.
We sell the uranium to other countries instead of using it here.
Labor and Liberal have crippled the Australian energy industry.
It’s time to take off the restrictions and let all energy sources flourish.
