Good news for socons at Conservative Party convention, including this historic “first”

Faith GoldyArchive

I know some social conservatives are feeling left out of the "Big Blue Tent" after the Conservative Party changed its official marriage policy last weekend.

But I've got two pieces of good news for "socons," especially on the topic of abortion.

This “closet full of coat hangers” is just fear-mongering and it doesn’t address that it is a women’s responsibility to look after both themselves and the little one in the womb. If they wish to harm themselves, so be it. But it’s usually doctors committing the abortions, even when illegal, anyways.

Don’t you love that leftists feel we shouldn’t even think this can be a topic of discussion anymore? That they see the right to life for those in the womb as purely a religious preference? That they don’t mind the taking away of the unborn’s right to life, the killing, murdering aspect one iota? The dismemberment? And finally, yes, women are allowed to have abortions right up until the day the baby is born. Some even feel they have the right to kill the baby that was a “failed abortion” (aka born alive despite chemical poison treatment). Sickening.

I think the Conservatives see the Pro-life marches and respect the numbers. It’s time we have a more serious effort at pro-marriage (man and woman) marches.

On abortion:
Why are there anti-abortionists out there?
Where did they come from?
Think about it.
And why would we want o drive abortion back into a closet
full of coat hangars?

So you are a baby killer? what would had happen to you if your mother had decided that she could not have you? have you thought about it? and who elected you god ? So you believe that you have the right to take a human being life do you? well let me just tell you this much .You cannot take what you cannot give for life is given by God the Creator of all life and of all that every existed , exists and shall ever exists and woe to those who dare defy the Holy commands of God for your eternity will be spent with satan as your lord and master!Unless of course you turn from your evil repent and ask god for forgiveness while you still have time!

No restrictions? So a woman can get an abortion a week before the baby is supposed to be due?
commented 2016-05-31 22:17:15 -0400
You thought wrong Mark. There are no restrictions. There need to be some. We are a civil society, not barbarians.

Can a woman not choose what she feels is in her best interest. I thought this was put to bed a long time ago. Move on…nothing to see here.

“I fully support abortion.”

Well then, put your money where your mouth is. Go get a PAL, buy a big rifle, stick it in your mouth, and paint your ceiling red with yourself. Congratulations, you are now a 60th trimester abortion

“I fully support abortion. "

Many don’t – want to put it to a direct referendum?

Heh, didn’t think so.

conservative party idiots brought us to where we are today across Canada.
so why would I trust any of these idiots ever again?

“I fully support abortion. "

Yup. I bet your mother has second thoughts too, ANONYMOUS.
commented 2016-05-31 03:38:44 -0400
I fully support abortion. The government can have my tax dollars to put towards abortion.

And for the record, I am not the only person here that is stuck with the Anonymous name. I don’t seem to be able to change my name.

Why are we still discussing this?

Jesus Christ!?

Hey Dieter,

Were you upset when Rick Perry made a fool of himself each time he ran for President. One of the biggest morons ever.

Good news for true conservatives?

How about the CPC has been revealed as a fraud? It’s loaded with CINOs it will do anything, say anything, be anything just to be liked.

They thought themselves wise, but they were fools.

If you don’t want to get pregnant, then do something about it, don’t use abortion as a form of birth control. There are certainly cases where abortion might be considered, however being sexually active without using any form of contraception does not fit in that category.

Lack of self discipline has been the demise of empires. Why can’t we admit it causes catastrophic failures in every day life. Is it really so difficult to admit error? Have we become so vain as to think we don’t make mistakes? So vain to think others should pay for our mistakes? Yes we have.

Mature and take responsibility for your actions. Do not allow others to disavow their failures or poor judgement. Sensible is as sensible does.

“Henry Reardon commented 2 hours ago
I’ve never understood why “A Woman’s Right to Choose” isn’t exercised when she is having sex, rather than being delayed until she is pregnant. If woman simply used contraception – or insisted that their lovers used it – abortions would truly become rare events, far more so than they are today. "

Henry – that’s part of the problem, in that certain groups (primarily religious-orientated) wish to restrict access to contraceptives, since they still think anything but abstinence-only sex ed is a sin. Of course, people being people, with lack of access, they simply do it unprotected with logical consequences.

I was against adding the word abortion to gender selection because there are other means of selection, especially with technology. This policy excludes that. Next convention I’m going to put an amendment to that in the form of gender selection of any kind.

Nothing about being the party that fights for the rights of all groups including Whites/Males/English/Heterosexuals.

Nah, keep throwing members of such groups under the bus because they don’t want to be called bigots by those who want preferential treatment for other groups in the name of equality.

Better start taking the White/Male/English/Heterosexual vote as seriously as they take the non-White/Female/French/LGBT vote as such a group is waking up and like the latter, will not vote for a party that ignores their rights and allows discrimination, hate and stereotypes against them.

Who wants to vote for a party that you are not welcome in,when they won’t even stand up for you, which Conservative parties are clearly giving the indication that Whites/Males/Englishs/Heterosexuals are not welcome, but just their votes are.

There has always been the fear mongering among the non-Christians that if a Christian takes office in Ottawa as PM, then all of a sudden that Christian has the hidden agenda to make Canada a Christian theocracy.

And ya know something, I really get sick and tired of hearing that complete and utter bovine excrement. There has never once been a Christian PM that has push his faith on the laws of this nation.

@lawrence O’Byrne….if we want a secular state and a separation of church and state …that is just something we will have to suck up…..but at least there will be one party that does not punish the clerics of religions that do not agree and refuse to be a party to it on principle……just as we should not advocate sharia law we should not advocate cannon law either. The Catholic Church sees marriage as a sacrement…the state sees it as a contractural partnership.

To ALL of those who get heated about “a woman’s right to choose”….if you are OK with the situations where men get saddled with the outfall of unwanted pregnancy and are obliged to suck it up…..Dr Phil included…..then perhaps you can relate to my hard line on the matter and my deaf ear to the objections.

Now the final thing I would have to say is a loud and resounding KMA to the hypocrisy of Irish Catholics who love to make pigs of themselves with liquor but are so harshly judgemental of pot smokers.

Yes, because no one has ever gotten pregnant despite the use of contraceptives.

About 25 out of EVERY 100 women still get pregnant despite the use of condoms, the pill, etc.

You are an idiot Henry.

One ray of sunshine in an otherwise dark night of appeasement to Godless liberal ‘values’. Better than nothing.
