Granic Allen gone: Who’ll be next so-con PC candidate forced to walk “progressive” plank?

David MenziesMission Specialist

Social conservative Tanya Granic Allen was Doug Ford’s kingmaker in the PC leadership race.

If Tanya hadn’t thrown her hat in the ring leading to most of her supporters shifting their support to Doug on second ballot, Christine Elliott would be PC Party leader today.

Ford was grateful for Tanya’s support then but now that the Liberals, aided by the useful idiots in the Media Party dredged up comments she made several years ago to claim she’s a homophobe and an Islamophobe, it’s back to “what have you done for me lately” PC politics.

Just like that, Ford’s kingmaker was deemed damaged goods and presto, she’s yesterday’s news.

Granic Allen was sacrificed on the altar of political correctness, but if dredging up comments from many moons ago that now don’t pass the PC PC sniff test is the new normal, who else is about to walk that progressive plank?

We need to rid ourselves of the Chamberlins. Unfortunatly getting a Churchill wont be as easy this time around as the real Churchill had the backing of the Liberal Party, Imagine that.

Paddy Brown
His pants fell down
So Paddy had to flee
Then up stepped Ford
With broken words
And empty wait-and-sees

I am very disappointed in Doug Ford`s decision to sacrifice a true PC politician and supporter in Tanya Allen. Ford will regret his decision but it will be too late. He will have lost the election because of a knee jerk decision to throw a strong ally under the bus to try to appease a bunch of Loony Lieberal voters.

The sheer stupidity of all this is utterly amazing.

Andrew, your part-time position of tolerance and inclusion is sad, you like tell everyone else to do this for the people who rank the highest on your identity politics pyramid.

Andrew,
You totally flaked out on taking ownership of your bigoted comments about a person who was diagnosed with depression in the past….you are a cretin. Making fun of mental illness isn’t a very tolerant and inclusive attitude now is it?!! "

Cut the PC crap. I’m not the one hiding behind it to excuse “conservative” comments in the past.

Not a good sign for sure.

So, can I start making cruel comments about your Aspergers now?

Didn’t think so!

So, you padded your mon0rail reference with canon fodder?!! Dragging the “sins of a brother” into your post tells me you are a three legged horse trying to stand up.

Suggest you research who is responsible for the actors. Seems you don’t really know.

“Doug’s brother’s stories somehow translate in your mind as his story….again, pretty f***ed up!

The monorail was Doug’s.

“The second part of your post relates to the Liberal running as a Conservative and hired actors…! :
No, it relates to the supporters the PCs hired to “support” Doug at the debate. Apparently the casting call was to get actors to play “real people” at a Ford Nation rally.

“Are you making fun of Andrew Lawton’s depression?!!! "

Honestly I’d be depressed if I had to be a conservative too.

Andrew, your rebuttal sounds just as loopy, "" Unfortunately, I am merely reporting on what’s happening. Yes, it sounds like the deranged scribbings of someone who had been into the hallucinogens, but … that’s just how the Doug Story goes. Sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction. Like the time his brother Randy supposedly bit off someone’s nose. Or how Rob didn’t bother to hide the beer cans before the poolside shot of “rehab”. Remember the monorail to the ferris wheel?"

Andrew, meth mouth is really gross. If you want to get a sense of what it looks like, without seeing all the rotten teeth; watch Nancy Pelosi during the State of the Union address given by Trump. The camera panned to her several times.

Andrew,
Your spectrum speak truly makes you sound like a druggie.
“So, the SoCons have admitted to being insane and/or hopped up on goofballs when they said SoCon things. Proving, once again, that conservatism is a mental disorder.
Oh, here come Doug’s paid trolls, $75 for a few hours work.”

Are you making fun of Andrew Lawton’s depression?!!! It’s okay in your book to do this, provided the person who had depression in the past is Conservative. That’s pretty f***ed up!

The second part of your post relates to the Liberal running as a Conservative and hired actors…!
I have no doubt they will find a cure for Liberalism in the coming years.
In your case, your other problems will make it impossible for the cure to actually work.

Ted, sticking to your principles is what I was going for.
commented 2018-05-09 19:07:27 -0400
Terry,

It wasn’t Donald Trump who proved that, it was Patrick Brown. And possibly now Doug Ford; shame. Trump proved that if you stick to your principles, only half the people will hate you, and you can still win.

Still, I think Brown and Ford may have done socons a better service than we realized at first. Maybe this is what it took to make us think our way out of the dilemma of Red Tory politics and into Strategic Voting.

VOTE CHP IN HEAVILY CHRISTIAN RIDINGS IN UPCOMING ELECTIONS. GET THE BALANCE OF POWER!
commented 2018-05-09 18:56:22 -0400
As President Trump has proven over and over, never back down. You’ll end up being hated by everyone.

Three words: Christian Heritage Party

Two additional words: Strategic Voting

One more word: Victory

If social conservatives vote for CHP candidates in heavily Christian ridings (but not most ridings), we can get to the same situation that socons are in, in Britain today, and that the Greens are in, in B.C. today: power.

As Andrew and other liberal trolls here have been gracious enough to point out, we don’t have enough votes to form a socon government in Canada by normal means. but just as the NDP did at various times, and as the Greens did recently in B.C., and as the socons did recently in Britain, we can gain power bh the back door.

And if that’s what it takes to get at least some of our agenda enacted, so be it. We need to vote strategically, just as the minority leftest parties have done, to hold balance of power and get our agenda enacted.

Support your CHP candidates in heavily Christian ridings everywhere in Canada and we can begin to turn Canada back toward being a society based on civilized Judeo-Christian principles and precepts.

But in ridings that are not heavily Christian, vote PC or Conservative or United Conservative. This will provide the MP, MPP, or MLA ‘conservative’ base that the CHP MP’s, MPP’s, and MLA’s can leverage for power.

Enough betrayal of socons in the so-called ‘conservative’ parties in Canada. Vote strategically and win power!

The Lawton/Allen details show Doug Ford is just Patrick Brown-lite. Conservatism and the western values of freedom of speech and thought are dead in Canada.
Ford is a coward.

Tanya Granic Allen did not deserve to be knee-capped, Ford will later find himself being back- stabbed and have the nerve to be outraged. He should reverse his decision.

Appeasement is not a good strategy, Ford should know that.
commented 2018-05-09 16:03:33 -0400
Ford didn’t have it in him to stare down the liberals and their media. He’s no better than Patrick Brown now.
