Dr. Patrick Moore, the Canadian scientist with a Ph.D. in ecology, co-founded Greenpeace in 1971 but walked away from the group in 1986.
The video he made for PragerU about why he left Greenpeace has over 2.1 million views to date. Moore explains that the group was founded to stop hydrogen bomb testing in Alaska during the height of the Cold War, and subsequently took on the anti-whaling cause.
But Moore left when their agenda took an anti-human turn with unscientific campaigns against life-saving insecticides and chlorine in drinking water.
Since the split, Greenpeace has tried to expunge Moore from the organization's early history, downplaying his role in organizing and participating in their first mission to Alaska to block H-bomb testing aboard a fishing vessel called the Phyllis McCormack.
Now, Greenpeace has Google and the mainstream media to provide an assist in the Stalinist historical revisionism of their beginnings, because Moore and his climate change realism have a new fan in President Trump after Moore appeared on Fox News to talk about AOC’s Green New Deal.
CNN, BBC, The Independent and dozens of other media sites penned endless articles repeating Greenpeace claims verbatim that Moore was never a founder and Trump was wrong about Moore — with zero fact checking whatsoever.
That claim is a lie. Fake News. Not only was Moore there the day Greenpeace was born, but he was there during gestation too.
Big Tech and Big Media colluded to discredit the president by discrediting the person he's giving credibility to, the way they always do.
Dr. Patrick Moore's reputation was collateral damage in the war on Trump for the collaborators in mainstream media, tech, and Greenpeace, but this time, it's their own reputations they’ve damaged with their lies.
