Greenpeace “do-gooders” ignore human side of radical campaign to end coal in Poland

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Host | The Gunn Show

Katowice, Poland, the host city of this year's United Nations climate change conference, is a coal town

That inconvenient fact hasn't stopped the out of country Western do-gooders at Greenpeace from coming here to tell Katowice to walk away from their own jobs, and abandon coal.

However, there is a human face to such a radical idea.

Currently, around 80 per cent of Poland's power production is provided by coal-fired generation, and 100,000 people are employed as coal miners in Poland.

Did you know not long ago, the coal miners union was part of the solidarity movement that pushed down the first domino that led to the end of the Soviet Union?

Today, after all they've done for human liberty, Western environmentalists want those miners to be forgotten, broken and written out of history.

Who now own,s the name green peace? Where are the protests about the billions of liters of raw sewage being dumped directly into the sea and our rivers. The 80,000 barrels of tax free carbon tax free oil being imported daily up the ST.Lawrence.
Mean while in Alberta if a cup full of soil on a construction site goes down the storm drain is an outrage and stop work orders are issued massive fines issued.

Good thing no one has to follow their commands.

I don’t remember who it was, but someone on here told me once, they are actually trying to kill us. There are far more effective ways to kill people than bullets. Starvation and poverty is an old trick the communists used to kill millions of their own people. Is this happening on a world wide scale now? I see my government killing our best revenue, oil, while importing billions of Saudi oil, making another country rich. By the way this is my only forum to publicly say, the Quebec premiere is a total scum bucket. I love Alberta, I love Quebec. Intense and beautiful people. Hey Diane, what’s up? They are part of us and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Polish people stand up like you did in the eighties. My polish neighbor would be out with a shovel, whacking people on the head if he was still alive. He saw WWII and his family almost starved to death under communism. Jan G. I am not a Catholic, but man the world could use the old Pope in his pope mobile coming down like a super hero. Think we all need to spread some bon volonte’. Hope I spelled that right. It wouldn’t be wrong to weep for the people of the world right now. But make it short, men and women, you are strong and powerful. You have more power than all the governments in the world. The time to stand is now. Peace is better than violence. The pen is mightier than the sword. Polish people remember your heritage, stand tall. If you do not…the hunger games is right around the corner. Thanks for another excellent report Sheila, you are getting better and better at this. We all admire you and David in Marrakesh and the rest of the rebel staff. Merry Christmas!

Like all lunatic leftists, these people have zero empathy for working folks. I dare say a single day in the mines would wear them out for a few weeks. Let’s hope ordinary folks resoundly boo these deluded idiots.

What gives Greepeace the God Given right to go around telling anybody anything? They are just a bunch of Marxist deadbeats.

I’m with you on that, JAN G.

I wish St. John Paul II was still here. He’d tell them exactly what they don’t want to hear.
Be not afraid.
