Greenpeace co-founder Patrick Moore: Once “brilliant,” today David Suzuki is “ideological,” “arrogant.” What happened?

Brian LilleyArchive

Greenpeace co-founder turned "sensible environmentalist" Patrick Moore joined me to look back at his university days, when he studied under David Suzuki.

Moore says Suzuki's extensive lectures on genetics were "brilliant."

But now, he says, Suzuki "is the geneticist who's against genetics, because he is against all the genetic sciences we've developed to improved our food and medicine."

Moore has a theory about why Suzuki refuses to debate him...

Jay Kelly the idiot loves to be shit on. Just the way he is. Mommy didn’t hug him enough and he desires attention, even negative, as long as the spotlight is on him. Go see a psychiatrist Jay. First you will have to empty out your RSP as this project will cost you a bundle.

Jay Kelly you comment many times on things that are not part of the story, you are hardly one to ask that of others.

Jay Kelly, why should I be careful, I stated the obvious that you are a hypocrite, a clown, and an idiot. You open your mouth and remove all doubt everyday that those words are an excellent description of you.

“You are a complete hypocrite as well as an idiot.”

D Mary offers this comment.

Maybe we should be a little more careful. Perhaps we should give some thought to what we are saying.

Jay Kelly, must be another Gordo Steele alias. You commented that others should comment about the topic, yet you regularly praise firefighters in stories where they are not the topic, typically because you cant comment on the topic. You are a complete hypocrite as well as an idiot.

Jay, again you confuse respect with civility. I too was taught to “respect my elders” but that is because people (then as now) continue to confuse “civility” with “respect” thinking they both mean the same thing. The saying originated long ago, so long ago that in fact its origin cannot be traced as to specifically when or who coined the original phrase. Again, respect is earned not given freely, civility is what we should practice. Civility is what you advocated.

Mike Krchnak, we have all been respectful of you here on the Rebel.

You know that, and that we have been respectful of your comments, and included them here.

Is there something that you would like to say about this issue? — about Greenpeace or David Suzuki — because this is the place to do it.

Otherwise, please feel free to comment and give your opinion about the issues being discussed on here.

We do value your comments.

Jay k….there you go again….what the fuck? Once the elder becomes disrespectful to others, all respect to said is gone. Now grow the fuck up you clown…really.
Your posts are becoming so predictable. Susucky is a an elitist has been and for a long time now. A true narcissistic 1% er.

D Mary attacks Brian Lilley by saying “no one respects you and your ridiculous drivel you spew here everyday.”

You should know that Brian Lilley is a respected journalist.

You may not agree with all his opinions, but Brian Lilley deserves some respect.

Suzuki does not respect anyone who does not follow his climate change farce, so he deserves no respect regardless of his age. Just like no one respects you and your ridiculous drivel you spew here everyday.

Hyacinth, David Suzuki celebrated his 80th birthday recently. I am not going to scorn or mock him.

From when I was a child I was taught to respect my elders.

“More importantly, respect your elders. "

Jay, respect is earned not given freely. You confuse civility with respect. One is civil or should strive to be civil to everyone, you respect someone only if they have earned it for some reason. Suzuki has not earned respect, but rather earned scorn or mockery.
For example:
“Summary: Human beings are just maggots that hatch from eggs. Maggots crawl around, ingest and defecate. They become bigger and can “crush” other maggots with their weight. Most people are content to be first and second level maggots. …”

Once “brilliant,” today David Suzuki is “ideological,” “arrogant.”

Today David Suzuki is eighty years old. Cut him some slack.

More importantly, respect your elders.

Bill Elder: Wonderful use of the English language. You’ve said it all.

Acuuna: Ha ha Hee Hee Ha Ha Hillarious Thx for making me laugh

commented 2016-05-11 21:06:57 -0400
Brilliant? That was a great laugh, thanks. To those that can’t distinguish shit from shyt Suzuki may appear a genius, but appearances can be and are deceiving. Suzuki happened to be in the right place at the right time once upon a time – nothing more. Without the backing of CBC and the Liberal Party this man never would have risen above a two bit professor at some college/university or a lab tech in some facility.

Suzie changed when he sold out his integrity to globalist interests to be a poster boy for their post-national economic feudalism. The pay is good, you’re exempt from the austerity created by these globalist wealth redistribution agendas and for a egotistic narcissist the celebrity of being marketed as a green rock star is as addictive as the crack pipe.

I wrote the fool off decades ago when he used his CBC pulpit to preach the misanthropic dogmas of the eco cult while sacking away all the payola he could into a privileged 1%er life style. Really nothing to learn from this toxic hypocrite except how to sell your soul to the globalists.

Power has corrupted him absolutely…

Nonetheless, he has always been a godless evolutionist and fact-less ideologue. So sad, that thus is what dementia does to some people over their lives…

once you take the money for the things you say, you are owned by the donor. this is what happened to David Kawasaki, I mean Suzuki. he just follows the money like a rat in a maze.
same thing with the facebook freak, Zuckerman. they get so rich that richer people buy them and use them as a commodity. what a bunch of puppets…controlled by evil masters…

Drinking too much of the kool-aid can have this effect.
