Grenfell Tower: A community left to its own devices

Lucy BrownRebel Contributor

I headed down to Grenfell Tower this week to listen to the concerns of residents and the community who have been let down and ignored by the council, the media and their government representatives after the devastating fire that killed dozens of people.

Expecting to find only anger, Lucy was surprised to see a community, left to its own devices, looking after its own, and ordinary people showing a huge amount of support and compassion for the victims who feel abandoned by the system.

Once again we see the Seik community rising to the top to help fellow mankind. These are the people we want and need as immigrants.

Of course, if CNN et al finally get around to covering this story they will call the Seiks Muslims and make a big deal about Muslims coming to the rescue. We have seen this in the past.

Keith Barnes, said in part, "No one has even mentioned a theory about what caused the fire. The MSM and Officials are ignoring, in public at least, the fact that the Building was occupied by mostly people of the Muslim Faith and many of the survivors have stated that they herd a large explosion at the time that the fire started.

Could this have been amateur Bomb Makers? "

This question is valid, and, there should be a thorough investigation into the cause, and what people who survived this ordeal have reported.

Good coverage Lucy, as are all your articles.

I would be interested to know, why is everybody, in officialdom are more interested in what caused the fire to spread as fast as it did, rather than talk about what caused the fire in the first place. Labour Leader Jeromy Corbyn has tried to make Political Hay, by blaming Government negligence. The building was completed some time in the 1970s and to the best of my knowledge, modified with Cladding in the 1990s. So it is the Conservatives who are to blame!

No one has even mentioned a theory about what caused the fire. The MSM and Officials are ignoring, in public at least, the fact that the Building was occupied by mostly people of the Muslim Faith and many of the survivors have stated that they herd a large explosion at the time that the fire started.

Could this have been amateur Bomb Makers?

Just a thought.

That will tell you what the people think of the British class system…not much. Those people really ARE oppressed, right now in the 21st century.
