Guidy Mamann: Preventing a backlash against refugees

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

On last night's episode of The Ezra Levant Show, immigration lawyer Guidy Mamann joined me to talk about Trudeau's cancelled refugee “triage” project.

The Liberal government had intended their program to redirect asylum seekers away from Montreal and Toronto in particular. With 30 years experience dealing with immigration into Canada, Mamann explains why it's so difficult to move people from these big cities and into smaller communities.

Here at The Rebel, we have been following the story of how the Toronto Radisson Hotel East has been completely turned over to refugees at the expense of the taxpayer.

Many Canadian Men, and some (although much fewer) Women, sleep in shelters at night and scrounge for food during the day. They depend on local Churches for a hard boiled egg, or a sandwich. I did, for 4+ months in Halifax in my early 50’s… It did not matter that I am very well educated, and had Work and Life experience. But, I was a Straight White Canadian Male, and was denied work countless times. I did not fit the “Diversity Criteria”, so no job or Hotel room for me.. There are Food Banks and Clothing Banks across this Country. I depended on the ones in Halifax for more than 3 years after I fought my way out of that Men’s Shelter/Hell Hole. They will give you what you need until you get back on your feet. But there’s a catch to getting back on your feet. You have to work hard, and really want it.. Even being fluent in English and understanding some French, did not help me.. This message brought to you by a “Privileged Canadian White Male”… Oops, forgot to say “Straight”. After all, to many that gives me an advantage as well, right?… Sure it does…

Our local muslim arrivals are nice folks but not doing so well. A second language is hard to learn after your 20’s, although they are doing fairly well in that department. But not well enough to handle the technical terminology required in the trades. He seems quite willing to work and be independent but he still has no job after 3 years although he has done short stints here and there. I doubt they will ever be able to function without community support. I guess there is not much call for vegetable sellers-his former job- in Canada.

How can they find jobs? Many can’t speak either official language, many have no formal education and many have no marketable skills.
There are only so many job openings for taxi drivers.
However, they are all artists and baby makers. They draw government cheques and reproduce like rabbits.

Guidy says the Refugees like the cities so that they can find a job and support their families!
Really!! Is that why that after 3.5 years in our cities, Trudeau’s Syrian refugees are 85 to 95% unemployed. (83% unemployed in Germany after close to 5 years Berlin University study)
Sorry Guidy, but I think they make more money and have more perks on Welfare. Example: free dental, eye glasses etc..

Let Canadians have their rural communities at least. If its easier for them to survive in cities, keep them there and figure out how to minimize the numbers coming in in the first place. Lets not change the face of the entire country.

Liza, short, sweet and accurate.

Too many, too fast, from all the wrong places, for all the wrong reasons.
