Harjit Sajjan uses wounded veterans as photo-op props

David MenziesMission Specialist

Dave "The Menzoid" Menzies reports on Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan visiting Toronto to offer his support for the Canadian armed forces athletes competing in the Invictus Games. Unfortunately, once the PR stunts and photo-ops are finished Sajjan will go back to ignoring our nation's veterans.

Barry Westholm, an advocate for Canadian veterans, attempted to email his concerns about Veterans Affairs to Prime Minister Trudeau and Sajjan. Westholhm noted that the system was failing military personnel who'd put their lives on the line for Canada. In response, the Canadian Forces withdrew a job offer the had given to Westholm claiming he "made slanderous, inappropriate, and ill-informed statements about the JPSU" (Joint Personnel Support Unit).

Apparently, the Minister of Defence and Justin Trudeau are too fragile to receive straight-talk from Canadian veterans about how other veterans are being screwed. It's making a mockery of the Invictus Games.

I think it is unfortunate that David Menzies considers the Invictus Games a “photo op” and Prince Harry as somehow using these military veterans as a backdrop. Prince Harry and Minister Harjit Sajjan are both veterans. They both saw active duty. They both are going out of their way to acknowledge the talents of their fellow soldiers who did not fare so well. The Invictus Games brings together former soldiers who were injured or handicapped, to show off their athletic prowess.

Good for Harjit Sajjan, good for Prince Harry, good for our veterans.

I will always consider Sajjan the Minister of Stolen Valour; he should have resigned or failing that, Trudeau should have fired him.
He cannot be taken seriously by his counterparts around the world. He has feigned interest in our veterans & I find his hypocrisy stomach churning!

Well said flat earth!
Kids getting driver’s licenses go through more vetting than the refugee hordes coming to Canada.

I understand why this globalist government is hostile to our military – they are on opposite sides in the war against civilization.

Why would this asshole give a shit about our veterans… He’s not from Canada he wasn’t born here and really you’re not really a Canadian until you’re at least second generation… And that’s when the values, the culture and the way of life manifests itself. There is no way anyone who applies for citizenship in Canada and immediately discovers all these thingsto be apparent..!! This is not racism or bigotry and have everything to do with the security and the status of the nation!

It seems the once honorable veteran, Sajjan, has gone full Liberal, Never go full Liberal. That stench will never wear off. People were worried that everyone would forget about Trudeau gifting his terrorist pal $10.5 million. I don’t think they need to worry about that. People aren’t forgetting it because Trudeau keeps giving everyone reasons to remember it.

I am going to be interested in the action against Remembrance Day this year in light of denigrating Macdonald and other aspects of Canadian history (assuming, of course, that we accept there is a notion of an idea called Canada). I’ll bet Defense Minister ‘stolen honour’ will be on the side of the protesters. Of course Baby Doc will ensure his usual photo ops beside Sikh Militia Lt Col stolen honour as he also denounces our vets.

oh and not to forget the new NDP leader, who openly supports sharia in canada, have ties with sikh extremists, has never condemned sikh terrorism and is in open support for a separate sikh state in India all the while preaching secularism & tolerance in Canada. What a hypocrite.
With such leaders Canadians are screwed three times.

SMOKEY SMITH Was a hero in my dad’s regiment in ww2
After the war , the government thought they could use him to push their propaganda , but got rid of him fast when he didn’t play their game

Someone recently told my daughter that her dog looks just like Harjit Sajjan. The dog’s a lot smarter though, and way more loyal!
