Dave "The Menzoid" Menzies reports on Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan visiting Toronto to offer his support for the Canadian armed forces athletes competing in the Invictus Games. Unfortunately, once the PR stunts and photo-ops are finished Sajjan will go back to ignoring our nation's veterans.
Barry Westholm, an advocate for Canadian veterans, attempted to email his concerns about Veterans Affairs to Prime Minister Trudeau and Sajjan. Westholhm noted that the system was failing military personnel who'd put their lives on the line for Canada. In response, the Canadian Forces withdrew a job offer the had given to Westholm claiming he "made slanderous, inappropriate, and ill-informed statements about the JPSU" (Joint Personnel Support Unit).
Apparently, the Minister of Defence and Justin Trudeau are too fragile to receive straight-talk from Canadian veterans about how other veterans are being screwed. It's making a mockery of the Invictus Games.
Good for Harjit Sajjan, good for Prince Harry, good for our veterans.
He cannot be taken seriously by his counterparts around the world. He has feigned interest in our veterans & I find his hypocrisy stomach churning!
Kids getting driver’s licenses go through more vetting than the refugee hordes coming to Canada.
With such leaders Canadians are screwed three times.
After the war , the government thought they could use him to push their propaganda , but got rid of him fast when he didn’t play their game
