Help wanted: Saudi Arabia has job postings seeking public executioners

Rebel Staff

Think you have what it takes to behead people? Want to follow Sharia law? Saudi Arabia has just the job for you.

According to the NYTimes, the Ministry of Civil Service website has eight job opportunities for those interested in “carrying out the death sentence according to Islamic Shariah after it is ordered by a legal ruling.”

The jobs do not require any set of skills or education. Probably because those who are educated wouldn't want anything to do with Islamic Law.

The Times article goes on to point out that Saudi Arabia's justice system punishes drug-dealing and arms-smuggling with a public beheading. Although thieves have been known to have their hands cut off if caught.

This is coming from a country that wants to be head of the UN's Human Rights Council.

“SA’s bid to lead the UN human rights commission is, like the UN itself, a cynical, farcical joke.” It’s much worse than a joke. It’s a travesty leading to crimes against humanity.

Executions have increased dramatically since King Salman took power altough some sources suggest the increase began before he assumed power and is due not to a pro-execution policy change but to simple prison overcrowding. It goes without saying that SA’s bid to lead the UN human rights commission is, like the UN itself, a cynical, farcical joke.

Fraser McBurney, Re: What do they do with pedophiles? Nothing. To quote Mohammad, “My wife called me a pedophile. ‘Pedophile’, That’s a pretty big word for a nine year old!”

So, people can rent an ad space for beheaders but our boyscouts can’t play water guns and 9 yr olds get the police called for playing with a ruler, that apparently didn’t touch ANYONE….???? I am ready to move to another country

Send Khadr there. Rather than have him live off the avails of the Canadian Taxpayer, like his family in Toronto, he could at least take a job. Coming from his Jihadist training, this Saudi job should be right up his alley. Saudi’s may not want him though. Send Edney also.

A good job offering, if you want to get ahead. Why do we allow these people to come to Canada? I know the Liberals will stoop to anything to get a vote, as will the NDP. No doubt Saudi money is involved somewhere down the line.

Disgusting barbaric society. Let them have the UN. Saudi Arabia has been in control of it for years. All democratic nations need to leave the UN and start a new peace organization with no middle east or sharia law nations allowed.

Fraser McBurney…nothing…. it’s not a Sharia Law capital offence.

Now this is one of those situations where opportunity is the willingness to do what others are not….it’s a dirty thankless job but somebody has to do it…and let’s face it…it’s a chance to get ahead …and if nobody is willing to lend you a hand or give you a hand…you can just take one anyway.
