Here’s why extreme anti-pipeline stance of Environmental Defence should worry Canadians

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Host | The Gunn Show

NGO Environmental Defence told a Federal hearing that they oppose all new pipelines in Canada, and they want to get rid of the ones Canada already has.

Environmental Defence said:

“Not only do you have to not add any more [pipelines]; you have to start phasing out.”

That’s crazy talk - the kind of things shouted by wild eyed lunatics on a street corner.

But we don't need to worry. Environmental Defence are just a bunch of fringe whackadoodles, aren't they?

No one takes them seriously, right?

Environmental Defence is one of the favourite environmental activist groups of both the federal Liberals and the Alberta NDP.

Watch my video to see all the support and credibility Rachel Notley and Catherine McKenna are giving to these nuts.

The world needs oil, we have oil and there are 200,000 unemployed Albertans.

But Notley and McKenna are supporting people who would rather send those much needed jobs to Saudi Arabia and Venezuela.

“…celebrating a new era of collaboration…”
Didn’t Canada used to shoot collaborators and traitors…

Sheila, I love your passion & rationale that you bring in all your videos & I’m always anxious to look at them to see what you have discovered, but I also know that after viewing them, I will be fit to be tied.
Barbie McKenna & Notley should both be put in straight jackets because of the danger they pose & why are we calling Ministers “honourable” when many of them certainly are not entitled to that term. I agree with you wholeheartedly CM.
Sheila, as you mentioned, these two women, if they are allowed to carry on with their environmentle gospel will send Canada over the embankment. They are acting as traitors & therefore have no business being in such high positions. The Libs were supposed to announce their decision for Northgate, etc, but again more delays, so that doesn’t look good & what about Transmountain Dec 19th, is that going to be delayed too, everything is at a snail’s pace for those people when it comes to pipelines, they don’t give a hoot that many are on pins & needles waitng to hear some good news for a change. When will Trudeau spend some money helping Canadians instead of foreigners, like Oreilly said tonight in his memo, “frankly Trudeau has to up his game, as this is becoming embarassing”

Follow the money trail, back to it’s source and you will be in Saudi Arabia. Break the spirit and you own the man.

When you realize that Trudeau is working for the Saudi’s, then you will know how close Canada is to extinction.

I don’t oppose pipelines but I feel we should be using more coal and saving the more energy efficient fuels for a time we may need them. Coal is abundant = it offers no toxic threat in transport and the new clean coal tech makes it efficient and cost effective to fueling public energy utilities. Current green energy tech hasn’t the efficiency to be even a remotely practical replacement for carbon based fuels.

Government’s priority is ensuring an inexpensive, reliable energy source for Canadians, not making people freeze in the dark in energy poverty because sociopath communists in eco pressure groups hate prosperity.

KElVIN GRABOWSKY, “Conservatives seem to have trouble organizing a squirrel hunt, it’s no bloody wonder why we’re losing our freedoms to these commies”. Excellent observation. Is freedom of so little value to people? Several of the oil companies got bought out by the NDP.

What’s wrong with these people? Do the people at Environmental Defence, the staff, the supporters and the members go to work or anywhere else by bike or do they walk? It they dont, they are totally contradicting their “unrealistic” values.

Unless you’re working as part of the people who work to produce these products, you should not be allowed to use fuel of any type. Nor should you be allowed to use any of the byproducts, eg. Synthetics, plastic, roads, etc. I’d like to have one of these snowflakes at a time in the real world

Another excellent commentary …good job!

They’re nothing but another terrorist out that needs to be obliterated. The first step for Alberta is to get the hell out of this idiot country and then build a good strong military. Anybody mess with us, and you blast them right away. then others won’t try.
commented 2016-11-28 19:04:15 -0500
Is there a reason why oil companies and every other corporation that is being exploited or destroyed in Alberta raise money to rent buses for those of us who can’t afford to travel to the rally in Edmonton on the 3rd of December? It’s incredible how the Marxists can organize rallies and pay people to show up, they find money to bus people and have signs printed , the whole nine yards.

Conservatives seem to have trouble organizing a squirrel hunt, it’s no bloody wonder why we’re losing our freedoms to these commies. And please don’t give me the excuse that conservatives are always working. There’s over 200,000 people that are looking for work in the oil industry alone.

When the lefties protest the righties back down. IF GOD FORBIDS the righties ever protests the lefties dig their heels in deeper………ever notice that?

ALL environuts should be put in a tent and denied any fossil fuel or bi products. If Canadians are using oil and oil bi products they should be Canadian oil. This is a no-brainer and these inviros are no brains. These nuts are messing with people lives.

Bottom line is Canada and especially the western provinces simply cannot afford to be governed by left wing governments. They will ruin us as they do absolutely nothing to benefit the country. In fact they are systematically destroying it. They should be outlawed as traitorous. Sheila you must be working on The Destroyers vol. 3 by now.

Thanks Deborah. Just got back from visiting a son who is one of the 200 000 Notley Refugees. His up-grade class in B/C is composed of such refugees from from Alberta. So the Dishonourable Minister of Energy (Invisible), can take some credit in directing the victims of her government as to where they can find help as refugees.

Notley wants to create a generation of dependents on social welfare to fuel her parties longevity in politics. Hey, it worked many times for the American Democrats!

Canadian Mongrel – keeping the oil in the ground, is exactly what the Dishonourable Minister of Energy wants, because she hasn’t got a clue, other than what she’s been told to say and do. She is hiding like all of Notley’s activist government is doing. They should all resign, but it’s all about the agenda to destroy capitalism, under the guise of environmentalism. The one that’s making the decisions is the one they flew in to assist her, because she was so “green” with respect to her portfolio. She’s likely laying on a beach without a care in the world, collecting a pay cheque that she hasn’t earned. She and all of Notley’s crew haven’t an ounce of integrity among them.

Sheila, its not only jobs in other countries we are supporting, but we are also sending Canadian dollars to those countries by buying their oil. Wouldn’t we all rather spend our money at home and support Canada rather than dictators, dictatorships, despots and rulers for life?

Your terming Catherine McKenna “Barbie” is quite appropriate: both have hollow and empty heads.

Being the broken record I am, I once again ask where the flick our invisible energy minister is. If she is the Honourable Minister, then she should be speaking out against these people, because it affects all Albertans adversely, particularly those in her rural riding. If she is muzzled, then as an Honourable Person, she should resign, cross the floor and sit as an independent socialist, because her constituents are being hammered. Sadly, I have discovered honour is not a virtue she processes, which I thought she did.

So we have the appellation, "The Dishonourable Minister of Energy (Invisible).
