A heroic Tennessee church usher helped save lives after a Sundanese migrant opened fire at the Burnette Chapel Church of Christ.
Fox News reports that 22-year-old Robert Engle saw suspected gunman 25-year-old Emanuel Kidega Samson and jumped in to stop him.
The report states that Engle “physically engaged” with the suspect and suffered an injury after being pistol-whipped. However, during the struggle, Samson accidentally shot himself in the chest. Engle then ran to his car, grabbed his gun and held Samson at gunpoint until law enforcement arrived.
Metropolitan Nashville Police Chief Steve Anderson praised Engle saying, “He’s the person who stopped this madness.”
Leave it to a good guy with a gun to beat a bad guy with a gun. Engle even went as far as rejecting the 'hero' claim saying, “The real heroes are the police, first responders and medical staff and doctors who have helped me and everyone affected."
InfoWars reports that Samson may have been radicalized by far-left anti-white videos from the likes of Mic. One video Samson shared was titled “White Terrorism” which argued that Trump should consider a ban on white men because, according to the video, “you're more likely to be killed by a white man than a Muslim terrorist.”
