With all the chaos in Germany with Muslim rape rampages, a riot in Malda, India went seemingly unreported.
On December 3, Hindu Leader Gopal Tiwari called the Muslim prophet Muhammad “the world's first homosexual”. According to Breitbart, this caused the Muslim community to demand he be charged with “blasphemy” and “anti-social” statements “designed to incite a riot.”
There were also death threats made to Tiwari on social media.

On Sunday, a protest against Tiwarti turned into a full blown riot.
India TV News says that “more than a dozen policemen were injured while about 30 vehicles were torched”.
Superintendent of Police Dilip Hazra explained the situation: “There was a rally of about 2.5 lakh people, which took an ugly turn. About 25 vehicles, including some police vans, were set on fire. Policemen were beaten up but there was no severe injury. I have heard of one person sustaining a bullet injury but there is no official confirmation of it.”
As Breitbart points out, “A lakh is an Indian unit of measure equivalent to one hundred thousand, so Hazra is estimating the size of the crowd at 250,000 people.”
Tiwari was arrested after making his comments on Muhammad after trying to get an angry group of Muslims off the streets. He is still in jail and according to Indian Express, The Lucknow police have invoked National Security Act against Tiwari.
