Hong Kong's massive pro-democracy protest spills into Canada

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

On last night's episode of The Ezra Levant Show, we covered the weekend's protests in Hong Kong thanks to footage from Avi Yemini of TR.News reporting for The Rebel.

You can see all of that coverage at

But how is Canada responding? Trudeau has a terrible relationship with China compared to Donald Trump, and pro-Hong Kong protests here in Canada have been interrupted by extremely wealthy young Chinese nationals driving half-million dollar cars.

So far, Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland has condemned the “unacceptable” protesters instead of the Chinese government, which has been gathering its military force to surround the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Do not trust all of the Hong Kong Protestors. Many of them, if they lived in Canada, the US or Europe, would be Antifa. Be careful who you support. If you bring them to The West, they just might be your worst enemy..

Trump won’t allow Huawei. Canada has to refuse it also. Its a trap.
50 years ago when the Chinese didn’t even have refrigerators, my mother said China would be one the free world’s biggest problems. She didn’t know about the compounding Islamist/globalist threat at that time, but she was right that we would be going to hell in a totalitarian handbasket.

I lived in Richmond BC for ten years and it was during that time I became friends and coworkers and employees and employers with/of a lot of people from Hong Kong. I KNEW that being absorbed back into China would not work out at the end of the day. I’d rather have been wrong about that.

“Freeland does nothing of the sort. She condemned the violence while supporting peaceful protesters”

Agreed. Every now and then ANDREW gets it right. That was indeed sloppy headlining that does little for credibility.

Democracy.. same as communism but without the guns…. They come later.
Democracy = Mob rule, the mob being mostly ill informed morons.
Until fifty yrs ago democracy was a dirty word, known as a system that ends in Communism but sold over the last fifty yrs as a bastion of freedoms, it is not, a republic is.

Also, if you read the linked article, Freeland does nothing of the sort. She condemned the violence while supporting peaceful protesters! Fake news!

Yes, their trade boycotts, retaliatory incarcerations, and telling off of Freeland to “stop meddling” in HK are indicative of a nation satisfied with Canadian compliance.

Trump’s friendliness with China is the last thing we need.
