How I came to Canada, why I miss it — and why you should watch my NEW SHOW about it every Friday

Gavin McInnesArchive

I was born in England, but one day something happened that convinced my father we had to move to Canada.

When I got here, I didn't fit in at first. In fact, I got beaten up.

But then I realized that getting beaten up was the Canadian way!

I immersed myself in Canadian culture. Now that I live in New York City, I miss Canada. Every Friday at 9pm ET, I'll celebrate Canada on my show "How's It Goin', Eh?"

I'll talk to comedians, writers and musicians, catch up with my brother and dad -- and you don't have to be Canadian to watch, eh? CHECK OUT the FIRST EPISODE here!

Sounds great Gav – trek to Ottawa and kick the fucking shit out of that closet poofter Trudeau.

Shave his head too.

Sorry Gavin, you’ve just proved irrevocably that you are NOT from Scotland. No Scotsman in the world would ever describe himself as “Scotch”. There are only four times you can legitimately use the word “Scotch” in a sentence:
- Scotch whiskey
- Scotch eggs
- Scotch tape
- hopscotch
A Scottish person is NEVER “Scotch”.

Perhaps you’ve spent too long in the Excited States and have forgotten the basics of your own heritage….
