Is media bias and methodology suppressing Trump’s poll numbers?

Christopher WilsonRebel Commentator

If you’re following U.S. Presidential election polling, there are factors to consider that make 2016 different including the blurring of traditional party lines due to Trump’s populism and Hillary’s lack of appeal to young voters and other parts of the “Obama coalition”.

Beyond that, it’s important to remember the majority of polls are sponsored and paid for by major corporate media organizations many of whom are almost uniformly against Trump and for Clinton.

Watch as I explain some of the other factors that show why Trump supporters should not lose hope especially when we hear about internal polling that has Trump way ahead.

Nothing is a guarantee and I’m not certain where things really stand but considering the Dishonest Media forces arrayed against Trump, it’s critical to look at the media’s role in influencing the polls.

I urge everyone to pull up the methodology of each published poll yourself and compare the sample to determine whether it’s a true reflection of what to expect from the electorate.

Yes, when she has a talking point ready, Hillary has that Cheshire grin. The US differs from Canada in regards to the media. Canadians generally trust their media, while Americans do not.

Trump probably should have said he would accept the results because now that is fodder. He could have mentioned that Gore would not accept his results.

Americans won’t have ‘Reptillary’ on her views regarding the sovereignty of the country alone. Americans are way more patriotic than Canadians ( we should take a lesson) and will never accept her open border (trading, EU style) crap.

More than two out of every three U.S. citizens in a recent poll say they are very or somewhat concerned about the security of the nation’s electoral system.

The Economist/YouGov poll was conducted amid Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s recent claims that the November election is “rigged.”

Seventy-two percent of respondents said they were very or somewhat concerned about the security of the electoral system while just 21 percent were either not very concerned or not concerned at all.

The real “fun part”: is going to be the “Oh Shit!” morning of November the 9th when hundreds of American journalists realize that their future is going to be writing obits and grain futures at the Podunk River Valley & Times…

Is media bias and methodology suppressing Trump’s poll numbers?

The latest count by MRC analysts finds there’s now been 7 hours and 30 minutes of network coverage on the theme believed to be most damaging to Trump’s campaign, and only 1 hour and 10 minutes on the theme that could be most damaging for Hillary Clinton (and the media’s “objective” image).

A majority of likely voters agree: The media are biased against Donald Trump, according to a national Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday.

MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough trashed the media on Tuesday for being biased against Donald Trump in an extended tirade on Morning Joe. While Scarborough spoke on the topic of anger against the media. Trump has continually railed against the press as an extension of the Democratic establishment on the campaign trail. He said you can overstate the impact of the media and the anger against the media in this election, the anger is there against our government, against our elected officials, against the rigged system, but mostly the media being biased on right and left, – eight out of ten people discount what the media puts in front of them.

Win lose or draw for Trump or Clinton, the MSM shot its wad with the public – it will never be trusted again.

They suppress and counter spin when he’s ahead and exaggerate when he’s lagging – the fact of the matter is Trump has battled against a unified sustained corporate media all out attack for a year – if reporting was objective he would have a 15 to 20 point lead – and there are indications in spot polls and internal polling that this is still a fact.

It isn’t over and it is still too close to call – when Putin is shocked at the BS the MSM is spewing and the disinformation they seed he was shocked – this from someone who has sen one of the world’s greatest propaganda machines.

Monmouth for example is definitely rigged, and the creator won’t release his methodology. I just ignore all polls under 1000 samples. That mostly leaves LA Time, Rasmussen and some others. I deduct 2% from Donald on the LA Times, because they claim they may be over stating his support by that much. With that, averaging the last 4 days I get Clinton leading by just over 2%. That means it is in the margin of error, and voters just need to show up. The more worrisome poll is the state that matters most, Florida. If Hillary gets FL it is over. Right now she leads 4%.

It would appear that given the Democratic parties history of auditing those who oppose them it would be unwise for anyone being polled to admit they will be voting for Trump. The levels of corruption being revealed about Hillary Clinton on wiki leaks in the DNC ’s own words is staggering. The vote will be liberty versus tyranny.

No, he’s doing that poorly, if not worse. You far-righties will be very sad and angry on November 9th

Rasmussen has Trump and Clinton tied today at 42%. A week ago they had Clinton ahead by 7 points. The trend has shifted in Trumps favor and if it continues he’ll be ahead by the end of the week.

Rigging the polls is a double-edged sword. If Hillary’s supporters see from the polls that she has a comfortable lead in a state, they may figure that it’s in the bag for her and not go through the bother of actually voting. If the real position is much closer than the rigged polls suggest, this effect may give Trump the win. Trump needs to talk about this at the final debate and tell his supporters that they can beat the rigged polls by showing up when Hillary’s supporters don’t. He should also be encouraging Bernie supporters to show their disapproval of the rigged Democrat Primary by writing-in Bernie on their ballots (since these will effectively be votes for Trump).
