How much will the Paris climate talks cost Canadian taxpayers?

Holly NicholasRebel Commentator

The Liberal government thinks they’re saving the world by sending 383 delegates to the Paris climate talks.

That’s more people than the US, UK and Australia sent combined.

800 tonnes of carbon dioxide is equivalent to greenhouse gas emissions from 153 cars, almost 2 million miles driven and 260 tons of garbage sent to the dump.

Even Green Party MLA Andrew Weaver is calling the government out for sending so many delegates to the climate conference. Many of them won’t even attend the talks and he says it’s a waste of taxpayer dollars.

Justin Trudeau has already promised $2.65 billion to third world countries for climate change and $1.2 billion to refugees.

We’re paying for his nannies and his fleet of secretaries. The cost to travel to the conference is over a quarter of a million dollars.

How much do you think this trip is going to cost Canadian tax payers?

Every last name over there on the taxpayers dime or a rent seekers largess must be collected and kept for future reference.

Donald Trump is calling the whole climate change thing a scam. I think any American that is sick of the left wing whining about climate change will vote for Trump.

what the F*** why was I not invited?

the problem here is that Canada is too rich/and too poor @ the same time…thank u everyone that voted for this clown….but gosh darn it…he has good hair I think I might vote for him on the next round which really makes me nervous

The problem is no one, other than The Rebel and it’s readers, is challenging these hypocrites. Not surprisingly the main stream media don’t report on the cost and the carbon footprint being left by all these climate change alarmists but I am surprised that I have heard almost nothing from our federal & provincial conservative opposition leaders on this issue. Why aren’t Rona Ambrose and Patrick Brown forcing the media to cover this? I sent an email to my provincial member of parliament, Lisa McLeod, a few days ago urging her to force the media into covering the fact Wynne took 2 separate trips to the Paris Climate conference but I haven’t heard anything back from her or seen her talking about it in the media. I also sent an email to The Sun Newspaper comment section hoping that they would publish my complaint about Wynne’s hypocricy but so far they haven’t put it in and haven’t reported on it. We are in real trouble if even our conservative opposition don’t want to take the time to hold them to account.

Lets see. In one month Trudeau committed $1.2B to Refugees and $2.65B to the Climate Change Fund. That’s just about $3.85B in one month. Didn’t Deborrow indicate that there was no surplus at all but just over a $3B deficit left by the Cons? Hmmm. Does anyone realize just how big of a number a billion really is? Well if you started counting to a billion non stop, at one number per second, it would take you 31 years, 251 days, 7 hours, 46 minutes, and 39 seconds to count to 1 billion.

I know, I did it!

It is awesome to hear the Green party make criticisms over how the Liberals are wasting tax dollars. I never thought I would find a voice of sanity from within the Green party.

Keep up the good work, Holly. <#

Darryl said, “Good job trudeau the great divider.”

Oh, no. no, no, no! It’s Steven Harper that is the divisive one, just ask any good leftie lemming.

Apparently this is okay for Liberals because the RCMP flew an armored car to India so Stephen Harper would be safe and it cost $1.2 Million Dollars, so any amount that Trudeau Spends is fine, even though this article just showed that he spent more than 3/4 that amount to fly somewhere safe with his loonie Social Transfer Enthusiasts. I don’t expect Trudeau will ever go anywhere where his life could be in any jeopardy requiring armored transport, and if he does, I expect the CBC will just make the sound of crickets unlike this one of many articles they went on about for days :

A picture is worth a thousand words.
It would be rude for me to list them all

Can we do a recall on this election and stick JT with the tab???

That picture sums it up people, the smiles are actually sinister laughs towards the people of Canada. They are actually saying, " thanks for voting us in idiots and thanks for our paid vacation you morons!" Just wondering why Gerald Butt-Head is not in the picture? This trip is all his doing.

They call them ‘champagne socialists’ and look at them all, 383 Canadians at the climate conference, schmoozing around on our dollars, with Justin there with his kids and nannies. A real Canadian hoedown. They must have left a carbon footprint, the size of of a sasquatch. Trudeau will be in power for the next 8 years, so get your bromides ready.

Note the quebec and ontario premiers under Rube Trudeau’s hands.

Wynne – Canada’s own Orville Redenbacher, has been financially raping Ontario for over 10 year with made up crap about climate change – before Orville, CLIMATE CHANGE WAS CALLED A SEASON, THERE BEING FOUR IN TOTAL.

Not an opposition member in sight, but that disgusting pig May is in the frame as is third place mulcair.

Welcome to communist Canada folks. Hope your plane crashes on the way home Trudeau – this would help Canada immensely.

Trudeau is an embarrassment to Canada and Canadians. Sending all his special friends to Paris for a holiday, pretending that they know all about Global Warming, this is embarrassing.
How many scientists have to stand up an tell us that Climate Change is not caused by man created CO2 emissions? Climate Change is a natural weather condition and has been going on since the beginning of time. Idiots like Trudeau, believe in the biggest scam ever. Created by the Marxist running the UN. It is nothing but a money making connery.

I honestly believe that Trudeau needs some serious help. If you know of a good Vet, please email his address to the PMO

PS, Even Al Gore has admitted that he and his stupid movie were wrong..

The liberal pack of thieves haven’t had their nose in the trough for years. You can bet they’ll double down and gorge themselves to make up for lost time, on other peoples money.
commented 2015-12-04 14:59:05 -0500
These people have way too much of our incomes in the form of taxes, fees, regulations etc..if they can afford this meaningless extravaganza. Shame on them.
Time to shut down the piggy bank.
This is how the Liberals will play with our money until it runs out.

Yes indeed, the environmentalists have hitched their bandwagon to the Liberals gravy train.
In the sixties on a program called “Laugh In” the refrain was “sock it to me, sock it to me, sock it to me” and we are getting it good. Or as P.T. Barnum once said there is a sucker is born every minute. If you voted Liberal and you are not on the gravy train, ole P.T. is talking about you.

Canadian “delegates” numbers are higher than the US and UK combined! Where is the media outrage at this colossal waste of money??
commented 2015-12-04 14:41:17 -0500
Oh, but his majesty sire Justin Trudeau the lesser is entitled to his entitlements. He can spend as much as he wants because he is the king! Certainly the main stream media will not hold him to account. It is unlikely they will even report on his gratuitous spending unless they have no choice. Then they will spin it into a good thing for their king.
commented 2015-12-04 14:31:44 -0500
Good question, but young trudeau does not own a calculator… others can figure this out.

Dear Diary;
This is it. That’s right, today I speak from my throne and get coronated.
I sometimes think to myself that Stevie was maybe on to something about letting the Senate just wither and die, but Sophie says that my word is my bond, so I’ve announced an advisory board to choose new “non-partisan” Senators. I’ve put “non-partisan” in quotation marks because that’s what the CBC did, I don’t know why they did that. However, I’m nothing if not humble, if it’s good enough for the CBC it might be good enough for me. But now I hear that Christy Clark is pissed off with Gerald’s idea. Really, I sometimes wonder whose side she’s on?
Still, nothing is to rain on my parade.
Never trust a sailor. I think that’s what Daddy once said. Talk about being right on the money. The Admiral fellow has just told me what it costs to buy ships. WTF. Do they have gull-wing doors and come with Mercedes hood ornaments?
But this is my big day. Just like the talent show contestants say; my whole life comes down to this moment.

Fret not Canada – our first official Coronation celebration it’s not all that expensive. And after the glow subsides we will find out that “the budget will balance itself.”
