A few weeks ago, I attended the screening of an independent film in Edmonton. The film is called “The Uncertainty Has Settled” and it details the consequences from Europe’s green energy policies on food security and local agriculture.
The Dutch filmmaker behind the documentary told me that he’s been shunned by many of his former peers for questioning the dogma of man made global warming, and for being willing to have conversations with so-called controversial characters in his film.
Radical leftists are just as hardline when one of their own step off the ideological reservation as they are with conservatives.
But these purity tests administered by our self-appointed moral and intellectual superiors in the mainstream media, government and academia, are having unintended consequences.
It is creating allies where none existed before as open minded liberals and “get off my lawn” conservatives are finding themselves on the same side of the fight for free speech and free thought.
Joining me tonight from a tree house somewhere in Germany is filmmaker Marijn Poels, to discuss the damage green energy policies can levy on the family farm and his next project, a film that details the polarization and elimination of civilized debate by the modern Left.
