Milo Yiannopoulos is a conservative-libertarian writer and pundit and larger than life character.
On Friday, Twitter took away the little blue checkmark that said Milo was “verified." I have a little verified checkmark too, as do many media types or celebrities. That's how you can know you're reading, say, the real Donald Trump's tweets and not an impostor's.
Twitter said Milo had violated their rules and that if he didn't stop, he’d be shut down. So Milo and his followers pushed back. He got 20,000 new followers, and #JeSuisMilo became a top trending hashtag.
It’s important that we fight against this kind of crony-capitalist censorship. Tonight, after the break, Milo himself joins us, via Skype from London, England.
Then TheRebel.media's Brian Lilley comes on to discuss his efforts to get basic information out of the Liberal government on their Syrian refugee plan.
He's getting stonewalled, even though he's filed Access to Information requests, which by law must be answered by a certain time. So much for Justin Trudeau's promise of "transparency."
Finally, I read my viewer feedback, good and bad! Remember: Leave your comments below...
PS: I also read an incredible Facebook "fable" about the German refugee crisis written by our good friend David Goldman, a.k.a. "Spengler." You won't want to miss it.
