Howard Levitt: Laurier University "viciously attacked" Lindsay Shepherd

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

On last night's show, employment lawyer Howard Levitt joined me to discuss Lindsay Shepherd's $3.6 million lawsuit against Wildfred Laurier University.

Lindsay is suing Laurier after university administrators attempted to punish her in a Maoist kangaroo court for showing clips of Jordan Peterson during one of her tutorials.

Howard explained that Laurier failed to follow their own stated rules, "viciously attacked" Lindsay, and lied about students complaining about her when none had been made.

Truly amazing how people in positions of power will lie and cheat in order to achieve a goal of hurting another person. Call me someday to hear about my story of a Statement of Claim Ordinary Procedure Superior Court of Justice Ontario regarding the City of Kawartha Lakes Municipal Law Enforcement Office and the Orillia Community Legal Clinic and my requested amendment to include the John Howard Society of Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton.

I find it interesting in today’s Internet age that I can find a dozen mainstream media stories about the lawsuit which (a) always say “unproven statement” and (b) never include the link to the statement itself.

Thanks to Rebel for actually including a copy of the statement. Mainstream doesn’t seem to like even giving people the chance to read the complaint/statement.

I hope this is a wakeup call for ALL Canadians. Little by little we are losing our freedom of speech. We can no longer speak openly in public if we are opposed to abortion, homosexuality, evolution, same sex marriage and so much more, such as to quote something directly from the Quran if it is deemed offensive to someone. We must ALL stand together and fight against this injustice. The present state of affairs is absolutely wrong! I went to university many years ago earning three degrees. In those days we were free to openly and intelligently discuss anything and everything, and that is the way it should be in a democracy.

This is a very important fight. I hope that conservative groups and activists will be able to move beyond the silo and become active in areas of misguided state-sponsored abuse. The cop-watch list serve “citizensforpeacefulcommunities@yahoogroups.com” was established in 2001 as one of the first initiatives of the Alberta Public Interest Research Group, and it is vital that conservative forces begin to engage on the subject of ensuring that mindless arbitrary harm that is perpetrated for the purpose of intimidating people into forsaking their rights, be spotlighted, questioned, and stopped by organized community action.

There is a need for the right to take some leadership in the 17 Sustainable Development Goals for 2030, due to the fundamental instability and normless lack of coherence, that is present in much of progressive civil culture. It has a lot of learning, and getting its act together, in order to be effective in the public interest. Goal 16 is something that the right could do a lot with. “Overhauling dysfunctional institutional culture, and achieving equal justice for all.” This goal is amenable to the ideas of the libertarian right, possibly more than can be expected from the doctrinaire SJW elements. I would like to get your views on this at “citizensforpeacefulcommunities@yahoogroups.com”.

I applaud Lindsay for taking on the Marxist bullies at Laurier! It will be no small feat. Don’t settle, so that you can expose the rat infested environment that has destroyed our universities, and our future leaders. And stay safe, because the rats won’t be easy to remove, and they will be looking to do even more damage to you and your reputation. I’m glad that she has a really good lawyer!
