Human Rights Commission claims man's last name license plate “promotes violence”

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

On last night's episode of The Ezra Levant Show, lawyer John Carpay with the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedom joined me to discuss a Human Rights Commission declaring a Nova Scotia man's license plate "promotes violence."

The license plate simply read "GRABHER," which is his last name, but some busybody SJW decided it amounted to violence against women.

WATCH my interview with John to see what he's doing to defend his rights, and how a left-wing professor backed up this absurd claim of violence.

One could make the argument that Pound Me Too (#Metoo) also promotes violence. Just sayin’.

Trudeau’s plate should say “GROPER” or “HYPOCRITE”, whichever level of honesty he is comfortable with.

I think this is a poor choice for a license plate………………

David, This guy purchased a personalized Licence Plate, his name is Grabher, which is probably of Germanic origin. He is entitled to use it on his licence plate. Just because some low life grubby little socialist decides that he can gain some Brownie Points by objecting to it, dose not change the law…..Go for it Mr Grabher,

What David Long fails to understand is that this man has had that personalized license plate since 1991. Now, because of some hyper sensitive social justice warrior, he’s forced to give it up. He also claims Grabher is a shit disturber, but also fail to realize that it is the person complaining that is the shit disturber. This man has been minding his own business regarding his personalized plate for over 25 years, and all of a sudden he’s the Canadian Harvey Weinstein because someone couldn’t get to their safe space fast enough.Methinks David should retreat to his as soon as possible.

As for The Rebel defending a man’s right to display his name as he has been doing for the last 2 1/2 decades, that is exactly what Rebel fans and subscribers expect them to do: stand up for the little guy who’s being railroaded by an overly PC government and a handful of professional victims.

I think this is a poor choice for a license plate in today’s environment where the meToo movement is doing its utmost to destroy good men (witness the Brett Kavanaugh circus). This man seems to me to just be a sh*t disturber. Life is too short to spend it fighting poor choices like this. So it’s his last name; big deal. Few people put their last name on a plate if it has bad connotations; much more clever nicknames can be used that elicit a smile, not disgust plus further hate against men.

The Rebel cheapens itself when it defends this type of behaviour.
