Not long after the horrific Islamic terrorist attacks in Belgium, Matthew Doyle, a PR man in London, wrote this on Twitter:
“I confronted a Muslim woman yesterday in Croydon. I asked her to explain Brussels. She said, ‘Nothing to do with me.’ A mealy mouthed reply.”
At least according to his tweet, he used no epithets or insults, let alone threats.
But the Metropolitan Police arrested him.
They also, he claims, ransacked his home, taking his passport and other property, including computer equipment.
Police eventually dropped the charges, but I bet a lot of people got the message...
