Trudeau's Labour Minister Mihychuk “should either resign or be fired”

Brian LilleyArchive

I’ve covered a lot of incompetent and ill-prepared politicians over my career but none quite so bad as Trudeau’s Labour Minister, MaryAnn Mihychuk, who keeps proving she has no shame and has no clue

Previously, I’ve demonstrated that she had no idea what was in the bills she was about to repeal related to accountability and transparency for union members.

Now we see that when a Conservative MP asks her about the Charbonneau Commission, she has no idea what that was.

While it may be true that coverage of the important work being done by the commission was mainly to be found in Quebec, wouldn’t you think that stories about politicians, bureaucrats, the mob and unions working together to soak taxpayers and enrich themselves might be a particular area of interest for a Minister of Labour?

Isn’t this especially true in light of several arrests last week of former politicians and political staff in yet another corruption round-up in Quebec?

Can this woman really be trusted with such an important file? I say she should either resign or be fired.

The whole Liberal party should be let go. All credentials checked and double checked to see if they really are competent to do the job of running a County. Hell a room of Chimpanzees could ring the country better by selecting random policies on a board. Sorry to the chimpanzee’s for comparing them liberal and NDP governments.

Jim Barko… are right…..starting right at the top with Trudope, the head buffoon.

Really…..what would you expect from an incompetent leader but incompetent employees? They are all tarred with the same brush. For the liberals in that caucus who have any intelligence, it must be brutally embarrassing to be represented by these incompetent idiots. For ANYONE to say that ‘unions are one of the best democracies’ is mind blowingly STUPID!!!!! They are one of the many organized bullies in our society and are no longer needed in our world.

I wonder if she was given her portfolio because JT had to fill his “balanced” Ministerial quota commitment? Then again there seems to be quite a few Male buffoons in Cabinet as well.

I am very afraid about what is going to happen when raybould-Wilson starts droning on about doing it for the women and children. This is going to be rough

We in Winnipeg have had to suffer with this poor choice of a person in the Winnipeg school Division and when she ran for and was an MLA for the money wasting Manitoba NDP. She even tried for being the Mayor and lost. I have no idea how she has been able to survive this long. You only have to talke to her for a moment to know she is an incompetent NDPer interested only in power.

The whole Trudeau government is incompetent starting at the top.

And this is the Labour Minister for a “G7” nation?… The" envy" of hundreds of lesser nations on our globe? An international goal for aspiring nations from Chad to Uganda to Myanmar?… Oh dear God, I think I’m going to take another big shot of Jose Cuervo before I go to bed and remember Canada andExpo ’67..

Hyacinth….I’m still laughing….toooooooooo funny, I will never forget that quote from Chrétien.
BTW Brian, the “hy” in her name is pronounced like “hi” as in hi you all.

Brian…I agree, she is clueless & has no business having this important portfolio & earning the big salary. Is Trudeau not embarrassed by this minister? If he is, he will never admit it & never fire her because that would be admitting the stupidity of his gender equality cabinet policy.

She’s a ‘former’ NDP cabinet minister from Minitoba.
Go figure…………

She’s a qualified cabinet minister, remember, she qualified on the affirmative action clause, because, vujayjay!

I think Trudope found her on the beach with the rest of the seagulls…………

Where did she run. what part of canada did the people vote her in. We know it wasn’t from the western provinces.

I would just keep on asking her questions over and over. She would be the laughing stock of question period.

Not to worry. The Liberal caucus is full of these people.

The Liberal caucus is a home for mental defectives.

Except when you don’t have one in the first place, like this robot!

The real shame in all of this is that the mainstream media, and especially the females who work in that media are so starstuck by Wonderboy that they can’t stop drooling let alone bring the kind of news to the public that they should be bringing. I am very thankful to the Rebel. I only wish that more people knew about the Rebel. I remember one interview with Dawna Friesen and Trudeau and I wanted to gag.

Unions democratic? Oh please, where is my barf bucket. When I was forced to join PSAC in 1990, because I got a job with the Federal Government, I objected because I do not believe unions provide any real, tangible benefit these days. However, I was unable to opt out other than for some arcane reason then even then the unions make it very difficult. Well, they want the money. When voting for or against a strike before you are allowed to vote you are subjected to an indoctrination session to convince to vote for a strike. Over the span of my career I crossed picket lines, and snuck into buildings to do my job. I was even threatened that they would penalize me because I worked during a strike. Now that is democracy at work. I wrote toPSAC on more than one occasion over my 22 years of service complaining they were using my union dues to fund campaigns I did not agree with or approve of, Flotiilla to Gaza as one example. Thank God I’m retired now and am no longer subjected to the democracy of the federal unions.

She doesn’t even qualify to be a picker in a booger hunt
commented 2016-03-22 20:28:54 -0400
What more can you expect from a drone whose only qualification for the job is her gender and political alignment – I’d be willing to bet she’s never worked in a physical work environment let alone one where the union goons will slash your tires, break your windows or give you a dangerous push when you aren’t looking – to jet their extortionist racket certified by ballot.

What a frigging waste of skin this lump is – maybe work off some of that lard on a job site fighting picketing union goons to get a paycheck to feed your kids.

She reminds me of a huge Whale wallowing in a small tidal pool. Confused and not sure how she got there, but trashing about trying to make sense of the world she has got stuck in.
