Indigenous bands tell Dakota Access Pipeline protesters, “grab your junk and leave”

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Host | The Gunn Show

Everyone is sick of the Dakota Access Pipeline protesters and it’s about time.

North Dakota has spent $22M just to police the sometimes violent protests near Standing Rock Indian Reservation but the spending isn’t even close to done. An expensive clean up operation is underway to protect the local water supply from contamination caused by garbage and debris left at protest encampments.

The State wants the salaried protesters who flooded into North Dakota, to pay state tax for their “work” as disruptors, squatters and vandals.

The State of North Dakota is sick of these people. But do you know who else is? The Standing Rock Band at the heart of the protests and five other local bands.

They have all voted to formally ask the protesters to grab their garbage and leave so that they can start reclaiming the land from the damage environmental activists have done to it before spring.

The protesters are making a mess while defending the environment, disregarding the wishes of indigenous people who asked them to leave their land while claiming to stand for indigenous rights, and being against colonialism while using indigenous people to further their left wing causes.

Left wing protesters are everything they claim to oppose and people are finally noticing.

So typical! Lefties really are a scourge, not only to mankind, but also clearly to the environment!

Protests are fine if civil . Ironic that last fall in the blizzard they had to call in help to tow vehicles and ask for propane etc for heat and cooking , all of which comes out of the pipeline they protest . They don’t want the pipeline to cross the land period , but, they all treasure the product that comes out the deliverable end. Take away the fossil fuels and all would be destitute in less than 30 days , right down to the shoes on their feet

So concerned about the environment, yet pollute the very land they stand on, to protest. I would call that hypocrisy on their part. They get paid for what they do & couldn’t care less about the planet. The bands should have acted long before this & also gotten these slobs to clean up their mess.

Just like in Canada the first nations peoples want the jobs. They want a better life for their family,s too.
I have seen the adds on a website for pay for protesters. The pay is good, a basic pay and so much for each event attended. The minimum is six events per year. Difficult to track down just who is paying these people. I suspect it is set up through a series of shell company,s to hide the real big money/names behind this. Seems to be the same dressed in black face covered bunch at many of these protests.

The left likes to hijack all causes. In this case, it is native rights that have been hijacked. Good to see the natives tell the protesters to take a hike. I would have preferred the protests to go a bit longer, if for no other reason than to have the protesters freeze in the winter.

Why is the State of ND paying contractors to clean up? Why not bring in the police and army and force these slobs to clean up their own mess?

It has nothing to do with supporting native rights. It one more tiresome example of virtue signalling.

Chris Fairley; some roundup in a coke can every time you’re out for a walk should take care of that.

If you want to get rid of them fast offer them a job.

Protesters are now on private land? Why are private land owners not exercising their right to defend their property?
Glad the Standing Rock band told the protesters to get out, but are they any closer to agreeing to the pipeline?

Haircut looks like a million bucks Sheila.

Canadian Mongrel NICE!
Those simple natives should not decide for themselves what they think when there are enlightened left wingers there to do it for them , and somehow that is not racist?

@ Canadian Mongrel

Hmmmmm … I could be wrong, but I sense some sarcasm in your comment. ;o)

There is a reason that the Standing Rock Band is against the protesters. It is a very simple reason. The Standing Rock Band are all apples! Just ask any of the regressive left protesters that are destroying the band’s environment and ecosystem. If these Indians were not apples, they would totally understand the good being done for them by the environment hating regressive left. Shame on the Standing Rock Band for being apples and caring more about their own environment and economic welfare and not the regressive left talking points.

Eco-warriors showed up one day at my local park to plant trees every foot or so. They moved trash aside to plant but didn’t pickup any. They have not returned but the trees block access to the creek for all but feral cats & they catch litter like Velcro, most out of reach to clean up. People forced to walk next to adjacent private yards. Slacktivism.
