Inside Harper's campaign and the myth of Tory "division," with Sen. Marjory Lebreton

Brian LilleyArchive

I'm joined by Senator Marjory Lebreton. The longtime Conservative activist talks about what the party needs to do going forward, gives an inside look into the campaign, and tells the truth about the alleged divide between Red Tories and others in the party.

Really enjoyed this podcast. I did not know that Rex Murphy is no longer with the CBC. Did he leave on his own or did they ease him out for some of his comments about JT? He was the only one worth listening to. I haven’t tuned into the CBC since before the election. Not missing anything.

Great to have the perspective of long-time Tory Senator Marjorie Lebreton Pleased that recognizes that “Progressive Conservative” today is an oxymoron. I am not interested in a half-baked conservative. Of course, the division talked about by the mainstream media is intended for no other reason than to cause division. Given her broader perspective having served since 1962, one can give a lot of weight to her recognition of the dramatic change in this election of the concerted effort by a whole host of people to attack Stephen Harper.
