Intense security is what keeps beautiful little democracy in Middle East safe

David MenziesMission Specialist

After twelve hours in the air, we’re finally in Israel, but that’s just part of the journey to get to beautiful Tel Aviv.

The other part is of course going through security and while it can be a bit tedious and time consuming, anyone coming to Israel needs to cut the security at El Al some slack.

Sadly, this beautiful little democracy in the middle east is surrounded by so much hatred and intolerance.

We’re here now on a ten day fact finding mission so make sure to check in at Rebel Israel to watch my videos.

All knowing one….. then I suggest that no such demographic exists in Israel.

“So…..what say you all knowing one? "

There is no such demographic. Don’t deflect.

All knowing Andrew…. Well, thats a question we have to ask about a certain demographic in Canada that don’t work, collect welfare while some call themselves religious scholars and are the only ones having children. This demographic are trying very hard to be dominant force in this country now.
So…..what say you all knowing one?

What is Israel going to do about the Haredim, that ultra-conservative faction that is opposed to the existence of a secular Jewish state, don’t work (rather, being on welfare as “religious scholars”), and are the only ones in the country having children, to the point where they’ll be the dominant demographic within 20 years?

David, I’m glad that you arrived safely. Are you going to be doing your after dark series there?
