It’s Crusade O’clock in Bethlehem

Faith GoldyArchive

Gavin McInnes and I are in Bethlehem as part of the Rebel mission to Israel. We were shocked to see the town in which Jesus was born is now a Muslim majority city, where Islam is the official religion.

Why aren't Christians abroad told the sad state of affairs at one of their holiest sites?

And is it time to launch a new crusade for the Holy Land?

Good vid and great commentary, the dumbed down Canadian mime is getting a little old though.
Catholics and Christians may want to take a look at the symbols that are shared between the Vatican and the Muslims. There are resources online that show who promoted Mohammad and why,,
Grant Jeffrey and William Guy Carr wrote numerous books exposing the infiltration of the church.
The attacks on Christians and Jews are only going to get worse and worse. I’m thankful Pentecost is just around the corner.

It looks like an Islamic city to me. It also sounds like Vera Baboun is none too popular with most Muslims these days.

“It could be described as a modern day exodus: Christians are leaving Palestinian Arab-controlled areas like Bethlehem in great numbers.”

Vera Baboun, clearly does not back Israel. She says, “If you talk about who we are – we are Palestinian in Bethlehem"

I’ve traveled to the West Bank a couple of times, and have good Christian friends who live and work there today. Don’t get your panties all in a bunch and please get out of your “bias bubble” when you travel next time. Vera Baboun is the mayor of Bethlehem and she’s Catholic. For goodness sake Bethlehem University is Roman Catholic as well. Also there is no official religion in the West Bank (Palestinian land is a mix of Sunni, Christian, Samaritanism, and Judaism). But, believe whatever you want to believe I guess… but please before you launch into a crusade, do some homework. :) “Travel is the antidote to ignorance.” – Trevor Noah

Jan G-I can totally relate to your 40 year journey. Now it’s from here on that counts though.
Paul Dixon-well said. If your only born once you’ll die twice. If your born twice you only have to die once.

Liza Rosie:
You’d enjoy EWTN, the Catholic television channel that was started by a cloistered nun, Mother Angelica.
The programs are intelligent, educational and deals with all aspects of what is happening in the world today.
The radio station is also available online and there are absolutely incredible programs that answer any and all questions from Catholics to atheists. eg. David Anders (incredible), Father Mitch Pacwa (photographic mind).
These are all super smart people.
They brought me back to the Church after 40 years away. Best thing that has ever happened to me. I just wish it had happened 40 years ago. So much time wasted.

Catherine O’Keefe:
Over 100 MILLION people were killed in secular (atheist) wars in the 20th century.
Approach 44 MILLION abortions are performed A YEAR.
Assisted suicide is becoming legal in more countries.

HOW peaceful is this Catherine?

The more Muslims become aware of what their religion is and is capable of, then perhaps there will be more conversions. I’m sure many of them have been kept in the dark about the realities of what they are practicing and not knowing why they are. Not all Muslims will be capable of realizing this.

Proverbs 25:26

Like a muddied spring or a polluted fountain is a righteous man who gives way before the wicked.

Three important Bible passages upon which to reflect:
Acts 11:26: “And in Antioch the disciples were first called Christians.”
John 3:3: “Truly, truly I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
John 3:5: “Truly, truly I say to you, unless one is born of water and the spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of God.”
Christians are people who are born again of the Holy Spirit and follow Jesus Christ. Wearing a cross, saying a prayer, giving money to a church, even being “baptized”, does not make a person a Christian. We do not idolize so-called “holy sites”. “God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”(John 4:24)
The Muslims are tearing down so-called “holy sites”, or changing them into Islamic centres, all around the Middle East. Governments like Israel make money from promoting them as “holy sites”. If God wanted, he could prevent the Muslims from doing this; after all, He is God! But He does not, because I believe He is more interested in people than buildings.
I thank Faith and Gavin for their thoughts, but they are misguided. I believe Faith is a Christian so I can at least understand her concerns, but Gavin needs first to believe in Jesus Christ as his Saviour. Right now it is clear from having watched him for a couple of years off and on that, though he thinks he is, he is not a Christian. I see no evidence of him being born again of the Holy Spirit. He needs prayer.
Rather than mounting a new Christian crusade like the disasters 1000 years ago, we need a spiritual crusade to bring people to Christ.

Liza-Christianity is the only weapon against satan.

Well, at least you are enjoying the tour.

Make sure you visit the Church of The Holy Sepulchre in the Old City in Jerusalem.

Bethlehem has only survived this long due to the fact the islamics make cash off the tourists.

Christians do not have the balls to go and take it back.

Heck even the Pope washes the feet of islam.

Catherine as others have said atheists are hardly peaceful, they have a worse record than any religion, even all of Islam at their current rate since 1979 or so would take around 400 or 500 years to equal the murders of one secular named MAO!

Maybe actual Christians are less concerned about idolizing the birthplace of Jesus and more concerned about emulating the words of Jesus. You know, like:

“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?”

I refuse to put up with any Christian bashing anymore. I take it as a direct attack on my person.

You’ll see the rise of Christianity in Canada as Islam tries to take over here. I haven’t been to Church since I was a kid, but have recently donned a cross and know many other supporters of Christianity who have done the same. Why? Because it’s what this country was built on. It’s who we are, even you Catherine O’Keefe if you were born in Canada. If we don’t rise up and push back on Islam with Christianity, we will lose our place in the world. That is what Jews in Israel are fighting for, their place in the world. There is only one effective weapon with which to fight against those of Islam who would take us over, and that weapon is Christianity.

" I wish the atheists would take over the whole world – imagine the peace that would ensue!" Catherine O’Keefe, yeah you and John Lennon.
What a seriously absurd and nutty comment.

@muta Ween…You CANNOT get a visa to attend the Hadj and do a pilgrimage to Mecca unless you are moslem. If you think Trump’s travel restrictions are strict…apply to attend the Hadj if you are a Shiite (even though Mohammed’s tomb is in a Shiite mosque in Mecca). The ONLY exceptions are personal guests of the king of Saudi Arabia who must remain within the scope of his eyes when they attend and it is so rare that it makes the news in Saudi Arabia the few times that it happens…so your’s is a safe bet.

Faith and Gavin that would be nice BUT if Christian’s want to retake the land of Crist’s birth they had better brig a gun a automatic machine gun and they better teach their children how to use them, because the religion of peace will never let Christian’s live in peace just look t the last 1,400 years.
Onward Christian soldiers
Marching as to war
With the cross of Jesus
Going on before

Onward then, ye people
Join our happy throng
Blend with ours your voices
In our triumph song

Christ the royal master
Leads against the foe
Forward into battle
See His banners go

Crowns and Thrones may perish
Kingdoms rise and wane
But the cross of Jesus
Constant will remain

Pretty much sums it up. The entire Muslim world shits their collective pants over Israel (or any other ‘affront’), yet Christians yawn at the take over of their ancestral and holy lands. But heck, most North American Jews couldn’t give a rats ass about Israel either, so I guess the historical lesson here is if you don’t fight for what you believe is yours, don’t be surprised when it’s taken from you. Right Sweden? The west is learning the hard way, and so far losing badly, a few election wins to date changes nothing.

I would gladly pledge $10,000 dollars for Ezra and his gang to visit Mecca . Somehow I don’t think I will need to get my cheque book out .

all in rubbles by the muslim demolition.
Catherine O. atheists – peace? I don’t think so. Think of atheist Communism which always results in genocide, in the multi-millions (Russia, China).
commented 2017-03-11 13:40:55 -0500
Couldn’t agree with you more. I wonder when the muslims are going to start destroying all the Christian holy sites in Bethlehem. You guys are lucky you got to see everything before it’s all in rubbles.
commented 2017-03-11 13:34:26 -0500
Hmmm – think Christians are a minority everywhere in those parts – good luck with your crusade. I wish the atheists would take over the whole world – imagine the peace that would ensue!
