1. ISIS plotted to blow up Times Square

THREE men have been arrested after plotting to detonate explosives in Times Square, New York, authorities have revealed.

The men allegedly plotted to place explosives in both Times Square and the New York City subway before their attack was thwarted by police.

The tourist hub of Times Square attracts 33,000 people every day.

US prosecutors have revealed the alleged attacks were being planned on behalf of ISIS in summer 2016.

NY Post has additional details.

2. Violent Jihadists in Germany up 64 Per Cent to over 1,800

The German Federal Agency for the Protection of the Constitution, the country’s domestic intelligence service, claims there are now more than 1,800 violent jihadists in the country and the number continues to grow.

President of the domestic spy agency Hans-Georg Maassen announced the figures at a press conference on Thursday at the Bundestag in Berlin. He also warned of a growing trend in German primary schools which are seeing a rise in the popularity of radical Islamic ideas amongst students, Kronen Zeitung reports.

The number of violent jihadis is a dramatic increase compared to August of last year when the intelligence agency said they suspected there were 1,100 jihadists in the country, reflecting a 64 per cent increase.

Jay Kelly. Who says Victor left The Rebel?
His column was a lie but he had good opinions? He never once espoused anything, he simply posted news stories from across the globe.
What Muslim commenters on this web site are you referring to?

You’re a delusional propagandist Kelly, paid to post on this site, employing the tactics of disinformation and taqiyya! You fool yourself and nobody else.

A kiss in is a foolish response. Try brining their kiss in to Iran or Syria and see how effective such simplistic protests are. Anyone taking the law into their own hands needs to be arrested and punished. If someone doesn’t want to see a kiss let them kiss off.

The Islamist who attacked the couple also attacked the police. Sharia patrols are cropping up all over Italy.

There’s something about Italians kissing strangers and the spread of STDs in that nation that makes the whole exercise seem risky.

@Jay Kelly….so the scenario is this….an illegally located mosque has a couple kiss in front of it….and a self appointed “sharia police” beats the crap out of them…

Who is the problem in the issue of peacefull co-existance?

There is one …and only one…communist dictator whom I was inclined to admire…that was Tito. Under him there was tollerance and harmony between religious ethnicities which harboured sacred grudges. He enforced secularization and raising children together away from the influences of hard line religious teachers…

Just BTW I am not Christian…I am buddhist….and I am not obliged to subscribe to illusion….I also do not appreciate the taqiyya and slanderous malingning of buddhists made by the Rohingya. It takes a lot to piss off buddhists that badly.

Jay/Andrew, once again you misunderstood the reports. Peace be with you!

Dirk Kanis, I was thinking that Muslim commenters on this web-site were closer in thought to me. Among my Muslim friends and my Christian friends there is a certain tolerance for discussion. I am saddened to think that anyone who calls himself Christian would rather be filled with hate.

Can we work it out? Can Muslims be part of the community of faith in God? Certainly Muslims pray to God. Many Muslims have also been praying in recent weeks for Reel readers.

Is it possible that intolerance is overcome by tolerance? Is it possible that hate is overcome by love?

You know it Jay, the top tem Muslim hate list is too short, It should be top 50 since their hate simply don’t fit the 10 list. Muslims hate everything non muslim including you.

This should be one of those “Top Ten” lists that Victor Laszlo used to write. He would take ten obscure news items from European news outlets and blame them all on Muslims. The top tem Muslim hate list, I think he called it,

He will blame the Pope, American politicians, Canadian leaders and anyone else he can get his hands on.

His column was a lie, but I am sorry he left The Rebel so suddenly. He might have had some valid opinions.

Thank you, Victor Laszlo. You gave some good opinions.

5/ The Italians seem to think its funny that their Muslim loving , Global warming Pope , along with their Gov’t and Police have sold them out to Islam. Being a Canadian, it sounds familiar.

1. ISIS plotted to blow up Times Square

THREE men have been arrested after plotting to detonate explosives in Times Square, New York, authorities have revealed.

… Abdulrahman El Bahnasawy, 19, of Mississauga, allegedly sent an undercover agent maps of the Big Apple subway system – identifying lines they could blow up with explosives.

“The 2 subway routes we will blow up will be the purple one and the green one,” he told the undercover agent, referring to the No. 7 train and the Nos. 4, 5 and 6 trains from 103rd Street to 33rd Street, according to court documents.

“We seriously need a car bomb at times square. . Look at these crowds of people!” El Bahnasawy allegedly wrote to the undercover agent.

“Asylum-seeker sues federal government over ‘humiliating’ 5-year imprisonment”
by Nicholas Keung, Toronto Star, October 1, 2017:

A Toronto man, who was held in immigration detention for five-and-a-half years, has launched a multimillion-dollar lawsuit against Ottawa.

Abdirahmaan Warssama, 54, was detained at two maximum security detention facilities, first in Toronto and later in Lindsay, Ont., from May 2010 to December 2015 while waiting for his deportation to Somalia.

“The sole purpose of his detention was to facilitate his removal from Canada to Somalia. Yet for the totality of his detention, removal to Somalia was never attempted,” said Warssama’s statement of claim against the federal government filed with the court Thursday. He is seeking $55 million in damages. …
