The Office for National Statistics have just announced that violent crime in England and Wales has spiked; for example, Newham has become the site of many acid attacks – but what’s most shocking is that London’s figures sit substantially above the national average.
Under Mayor of London Sadiq Khan, London has not become the “safer and more secure” city he promised in his election campaign.
So what exactly is going on?
Jack Buckby from the Rebel UK explores the new figures, and takes a look at what might be causing this spike in crime.
Khan blames the increase on a lack of police resources, but Jack outlines how community division, a failed policy of forced multiculturalism, ineffective police resource allocation, and poverty have combined to turn England’s capital city into a war zone.
