Jack MacLaren: What happened to Brown could “pave the way” for the Liberals

David MenziesMission Specialist

On Friday’s episode of Rebel Roundup, Former Progressive Conservative and current Trillium MPP Jack MacLaren, joined me to weigh-in on PC party leader Patrick Brown’s dramatic resignation.

Watch as Jack runs through the list of disappointments grassroots members experienced under Brown’s tenure, explains why he thinks we’ll see more of the same from the party and why he also still sees an opportunity for true-blue conservatives.

“There have been few Canadian politicians in the last fifty years who have been able to say to these pseudo-experts, “I know what the polls say, and I know where you’re coming from, but I’ve got my finger on the pulse of the citizens, and I’m not taking your advice.” I hate to give the arsehole any credit, but turdo la first could do it. Rene Levesque, Ralph Klein, and Mike Harris too.”

Nonsense. The media created Trudeaumania. .Mike Harris is the only Ontario politician to overcome the media in the last 40 years . And Iron Mike had help as Boy Wonder Bob more than doubled Ontario’s accumulated debt in the previous 5 years.

Rumour has it that interum leader Vic Fedeli plans to stick with Patrick Brown’s controversial support for a carbon tax.

Is Rona considering the position? She could beat Wynne that is forsure. Just imagine the two in a photo shoot together. However, I doubt she would go against a carbon tax and l have my doubts about the sex ed lgbtq stuff being pushed. However it would be a hell of a step up from old crow Ontario has been stuck with. It would definitely fly.

Breitbart reports that Trump wins. Campbell’s Soup is moving 380 jobs from Toronto to the States. In the U.S., employees are getting wage hikes and bonuses from their employers, no need to have highly paid brownshirts to enforce government mandated wage hikes. C’mon Tories MOGA.

And, hey, isn’t that what Donald Trump did???

James MacMaster.. I gather you and I are “one the same page”… Mike Harris indeed… What Ontario desperately now needs is somebody with the balls to kick the pollsters, hangers-on, and back room boys in the in the nuts and “Go For It”…

Rona Ambrose I would make an excellent premiere for Ontario… Having a successful tenure at the provincial level garnering support in Canada’s most populated province could propel her into the big leagues at the federal level where maybe she could find the necessary foundations to set Canada firmly upon once again with common sense at the wheel instead of political correctness on the throttle .!!

Rona Ambrose!!!! She’s the only one in Cdn. politics with guts and appears not afraid of anyone.

“Well James, here’s hoping for one of those “few” to jump in the race. "

Wishful thinking, BILLY. You can’t turn sheep into wolves.

Well James, here’s hoping for one of those “few” to jump in the race.
Would like to see someone with the social conscience of Kellie Leitch, be anti-carbon-tax like Kenney/Wall, the bombast of O’Leary, and for the soccer mom’s: “attractiveness” of Trudeau.
Any ideas?

“Of course MacLaren says PCPO policies won’t change, that’s his strategy for the election. "

Well, it may be his strategy, BILLY, but at the same time, it’s damned well fact. The Backroom Boys are little dinks with Poli-Sci degrees who have been taught by lefty professors. And party leaders like Brown, Hudak, and Tory – who don’t have gut instincts – absolutely rely on these guys to steer them.

There have been few Canadian politicians in the last fifty years who have been able to say to these pseudo-experts, “I know what the polls say, and I know where you’re coming from, but I’ve got my finger on the pulse of the citizens, and I’m not taking your advice.” I hate to give the arsehole any credit, but turdo la first could do it. Rene Levesque, Ralph Klein, and Mike Harris too.

The Ontario PC Party lives in terror of the Toronto press corps. And as long as it does so, the Backroom Boys will keep telling the leader to march to the media drum.

Of course MacLaren says PCPO policies won’t change, that’s his strategy for the election.
PCPO needs a leader that promises to “drain the swamp” of party officials/members that are against conservative values and party democracy. The new leader MUST oppose the carbon-tax, alt-left social justice dogma, and the Wynne/Trudeau destructive economic theory too. If he/she doesn’t, then Trillium will benefit immensely because a vote for a Brown-like PCPO will be like voting for Wynne-Lite.
