Today in Annapolis, Maryland, FBI agents raided a Republican fundraising office called Strategic Consulting Group (SGC).
The investigation is being run out of Washington, not locally.
The Washington FBI office said the investigation, including the raid, is being done with “fierce coordination.”
The firm has been sued, and has been questioned by the Federal Election Commission concerning money raised by a political action committee linked to the firm that has been accused of using candidates' names to raise money without their permission, including 2013 Virginia Gubernatorial Candidate Ken Cuccinelli.
Despite mainstream media reports that the firm was connected to former Trump advisor Roger Stone; in a conversation with Rebel Media, Mr. Stone denied any connection to the firm and stated that he had never even heard of it.
