Jerry Agar: Media ignores Andrea Horwath's "incredibly rude" interruptions - because she's a woman

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

On last night's show, Jerry Agar, host of the Jerry Agar Show, joined me to discuss Ontario NDP leader Andrea Horwath's performance in last weekend's debate.

Horwath was constantly interrupting Doug Ford and Kathleen Wynne, and I would be pleased with her performance if I was an NDP supporter.

Jerry thinks that Horwath was "incredibly rude" and that the media would never tolerate a male leader talking-over their female opponents.

Funny Jack/John you were singing Roseanne’s praises only a day or two ago. Fixated on the grandson wearing girl’s clothes….now you have turned on her…well how about that!

She doesn’t interrupt because she’s a woman. She interrupts because she is a lefty. Trudeau interrupted during the last election debates constantly. Like a little dust mop dog who can’t shut up. In the future I would carry a couple of those pressurized can boat horns and every time some lefty puke interrupts he or she would get an earful. If they persist I would move closer until they were bloody well deaf. Think they might get the message?

Drive-By-No-Call-John, when Trump interrupted it was rarely, briefly and on point and usually quite humorous. Not like old Foghorn Leghorn here.

Jack Foley/John Spartan, obviously you are having a great deal of trouble staying on topic. Buzz off!

Changing the subject again….to use your phrasing " whataboutism"! I think it’s rude no matter who does it. Once or twice is forgivable….constantly interrupting is not okay.

Jack Foley/John Spartan, she broke debating rules and didn’t wait for her turn. Constant interruptions are incredibly rude in a civilized society.

I had to turn the channel because Horwath was just annoying and ignorant.
Both Liberals and PC supporters commented negatively on her performance.
Ford should have said to the audience that Horwath’s talking over people and not listening to other points of view would be the way she would govern if elected, not listening or embracing any ideas other than her own.

I personally think she would be as bad as Wynne, but more than likely much worse. She’s a career politician who should be put out to pasture. She’s so desperate to win that she promises the moon, but will deliver Marxist hell. I hope that Ford wins by a landslide!

… Women politicians are handled with kid gloves.
… Horwath knew she was free to be ignorant, but also the first to take offense at the slightest hint of the same in return.
… Horwath is every bit the pig that she looks. Of course, you can’t say that about a woman politician.
