Jody Wilson-Raybould “told the truth about Justin Trudeau. I think he’s going to jail.”

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

Today Jody Wilson-Raybould testified about Justin Trudeau, Gerald Butts, and the rest of the Prime Minister’s Office, and others in the Liberal inner circle, other cabinet ministers, and even the head of the supposedly non-partisan civil service, the clerk of the privy council, Michael Wernick, how all of these people and more conspired to pressure her to drop criminal charges against a corrupt company called SNC Lavalin.

That’s a Quebec-based engineering firm that was caught paying $48 million in bribes in Libya. They were being prosecuted for those crimes in Canada, but because they’re a Quebec company, and Trudeau is a Quebec prime minister — well, the Libranos instinct came out.

And so the Montreal Liberals went to work on Jody Wilson-Raybould, the first aboriginal woman justice minister in Canadian history. They met with her, they pestered her, they pressed her, a dozen times. And she refused to bend.

So they broke her — they fired her.

The Globe and Mail reported some of this a few weeks ago. But it was mainly anonymous sources. Wilson-Raybould herself hired a former Supreme Court judge as her lawyer — to make sure she complied with her obligations as a former cabinet minister and justice minister, in terms of confidentiality and legal privilege.

Today, she negotiated her appearance at a Parliamentary committee. Trudeau waived some of his legal privilege, to allow her to talk at least somewhat.

And she did.

It’s about half an hour. I’m just going to play it to you in full, stopping from time to time to give my thoughts.

I had another monologue fully prepared for today, but this late-breaking news is too important.

And I want to show it to you in full, because I know you won’t get that elsewhere.

It’s the most amazing thing I think I’ve ever seen in Canadian politics.

Watch it with me tonight.

P.S. 15 years ago, when I ran the Western Standard magazine, we created "The Libranos" poster — a satirical image of Liberal ministers of the Chretien era who corrupted politics. Well, the Libranos are back, with a new generation of corruption under Justin Trudeau.

The Rebel is offering an updated version of the popular "Libranos" poster. Trudeau and his team are as corrupt as ever. Show your defiance of this corrupt political culture by proudly displaying a gorgeous, stylish Libranos poster — or even wear it as a T-shirt or get it on a coffee mug!

And tell your friends about it too — it’s all at TheLibranos.com!

Michael Wernick and Gerald Butts both testified (and Trudeau has repeatedly said during his “press conferences”) that no inappropriate pressure was put on JWR by them, or by their offices, and they all have nothing but the utmost respect for the rule of law.

But hold on a minute…the Deferred Prosecution Legislation (which I believe was written by the Liberals) explicitly says that the Prosecutor must not consider national economic interest. So, Wernick, Butts and Trudeau, and their offices, in pressing the issue of jobs with JWR, were specifically pressuring JWR to overturn the Federal Prosecutor on illegal grounds!

So, how, pray tell, is that respect for the rule of law?! Were they not counselling\pressuring JWR to intervene using a strictly prohibited ground as the reason??!

It really does appear that the RCMP should be getting involved in this matter.

PS – I am guessing that the legislation prohibits the consideration of national economic interest by the Federal Prosecutor, because, otherwise, every large, or even medium, or even small, company could say, ‘Hey don’t prosecute me, otherwise jobs are going to be lost.’

@HENRY REARDON
Your point to me is well taken. I forgot about that one :-(

What do I think about your updated LIBRANOS poster, you ask, Ezra?

I think that the next time I see a picture of all of those players in the poster, that I’d like to see them all adorned in orange jumpsuits and shackles…
But with what happened to the LIBRANOS in the original poster, the same thing will likely happen again…nothing!

Oh Canada…

So SNL paid $30000 for prostitutes for Ghadafi’s son. Was this taxpayer money? What a bunch of low-lifes, all of them!

My predictions:

(1) this will all blow over
(2) SNC LAVALIN will get to spit the hook
(3) Butts will get re-instated
(4) Trudeau will get re-elected by a landslide majority/JWR’s seat will be one of the only Liberal losses
(5) our resident troll will go down in history as the most insightfull political pundit of our time
(6) the proles just won’t give a shit

Alongside this scandal, there should be a full investigation carried out as to the full extent of Trudeau’s spending spree since he came to power. The trip to Barbados springs to mind.He was visiting a multi millionaire,so i’m sure everything was taken care of.How can he justify $128,000 for a weeks holiday and all paid for with tax dollars? Trudeau is an absolute disgrace, corrupt to the very core.He deserves prison time along with all involved in this latest scandal.I think personally that he will not be held accountable as that seems to be what we have come to expect with these rich elites who seem to go through life with no moral compass.Shameful!!

Yes, I have seen such courage……Tommy Robinson. A small “football hooligan” from Luton has taken on the mighty British elite and BBC. They accuse him of “hate” yet the hate they get away with spewing about Tommy is obscene. Thank you for your translation of Jody’s speech into layman’s terms. Do you think she is eyeing the position of PM herself after displaying such moral courage?

Liza, nothing can be more than the sum of its parts. Canadians are morally and spiritually bankrupt so they do nothing better.

Canada is broken.

Nothing is going to happen. We fund terrorism, welcome terrorists back into Canada and make millionaires out of some of them. We have members of The Muslim Brotherhood, a terrorist organization sitting in our government. They make policies and pass laws over the rest of us. And that is just for starters. This will create a little smoke for a short spell. Generate conversation and speculation. Maybe even sell some newspapers. But we will still probably end up with another Trudeau government come this fall. Satan’s Spawn Will Prevail.

This is going to be a test for Canada’s rule of law. I’ve been in doubt for quite a while, since the evil clown has taken the power thanks to Canadian brainwashed imbeciles….and his hair. Let’s wait and see but the expectations are rather low…

It’s getting most tiresome when they keep referencing the blame or political scandal back to the Harper government… This isn’t about the Harper government and it’s not the liberals turn to rob the country either.!! Only once during the entire performance did anybody bring up the hundred thousand plus jobs that were skewered in Alberta compared to 3500 jobs in Quebec that are called Canadian jobs.! The Liberals made it very plain that they don’t want to talk about that so don’t kid yourself about the power they hold.. if they get back in Junior will take no chances on this happening again and overnight we will feel even more economic pain from this monkey.

They are tightly closing ranks around him now and all vomiting the same narrative about saving jobs via the amendment to the criminal code that was slipped in an omnibus bill… fair enough but there was a criteria that had to be met and however loose that was SNC was so corrupt that they didn’t qualify for it under the damn amendment to the criminal code.. SNC was lobbying the Liberals and Andrew Scheers conservatives Just to hedge their bets.. with everybody involved at the top this just stinks of conspiracy yet nobody has mentioned those words.. they are afraid of him and that’s bad for us. We have to wonder what Jody’s motive was because she knew this wasn’t going to be easy… Was it to save her political hide or promote her agenda which competes directly against Bill M103… but with more and direct problems all the opposition parties can do is keep putting the heat on… Now they’re starting to whine that the questions are becoming repetitive and they wish to put this thing to sleep through the ethics commission.!

CBC.ca is broadcasting live emergency meeting… They are pushing very hard for to minimize corruption in business.. I can’t see this ending well because all he has to do is maintain Quebec and he wins regardless of what the rest of the country does.!!

I think this is a diversion scandal… Trudeau has done far worse than this.. with his own words…

The current bunch are far more corrupt than the Chretien libranos. Chretien’s crew only ripped us off for tens of millions of dollars, a time honored tradition in governments all over the world. Trudeau is trying to turn Canada into a Dictatorship, with no rule of law, but rule by the whim of the Great Leader, him.

And NO, Trudeau will NEVER be prosecuted, the LPC are already lining up the group of liars whose primary mission is to try to destroy JWR’s credibility. They will keep up this charade in front of the media for weeks, until viewer fatigue sets in, the voters tune out, and the Libranos go back to their usual routine.

The members of the exclusive Club on the Hill dread the thought of the top guys EVER being prosecuted. They might find a scapegoat, another Chuck Guite if things go too far, but the very idea of the PM being prosecuted is anathema to all in Parliament.
Justin may go down yet, but I doubt it, the odds are too great in his favor, and already Canadians are turning to “Canada is going to the moon” as Trudeau cheerily stated today to great applause from the onlookers.

And don’t forget, the hockey playoffs are coming. By Summer this scandal may be long forgotten.

Robert Greeley, I think that could be a distinct possibility. Justin doesn’t look all that worried to me. He’ll be off to the UN.

IMO… This is a Liberal spin con job… The Liberals will blow their own horns saying…Yes! we knew Trudeau is a lump… But now we have someone with blah..blah.. blah.. Then the Liberals if voted in again… will keep all of Trudeau’s and Butt’s agenda going full throttle!!

The only way I will believe this is on the up and up.. is when we see Trudeau and all who is part of this horsesh!t.. Is when Trudeau and crew are doing the perp walk…

Or..

Gotta go with Mr. Max Bernier… If Canada and Canadians want to survive this cesspool of cesspoolians that have infested their disease onto us.
commented 2019-02-28 20:15:11 -0500
That is a conservative worst case scenario… It’s always a possibility because anything is a possibility because who Quebec owns owns the election. And who owns Justin really needs him to get at least one more term then the work is done !!
commented 2019-02-28 20:13:29 -0500
SNC Lavalin…Sounds like an ointment to be applied to sore Butts, after to much Trudeau’in.

Charred, who is to say that a regrouped liberal party with a new leader, JWR possibly, wouldn’t snatch that leadership right back from Scheer come Oct.? Then we’d be stuck with another four full years for sure, and very possibly a majority. I think there is more than a good chance that, at the very least if Justin stays put, he could be knocked down to a minority, which would hamper his power significantly. As someone mentioned yesterday, this could even be a set up. I am nervous about it anyway I look at it. I don’t see any comfortable scenario. I think we are going to have some prolonged turbulence.

Maybe as Frank Vaughan suggests, they may figure that this has become so toxic that they need to completely change the narrative, and in time for Oct. install JWR or someone else the left could idolize, and run away with power yet again.

FPV #76 – Jody Wilson-Raybould, SNC-Lavalin, And The End Of Trudeau
commented 2019-02-28 19:35:40 -0500
JuSatan Trudeau said his recollection of the events and what was said in the meetings with JWR was different from hers. Just like that newspaper woman out west years ago who accused him of making unwanted advances. She said he came onto her in an unwanted manner. He said that everyone recalls things in a different manner. looks like once again Trudeau’s memory is being challenged for accuracy. How much longer are we to put up with memory lapses that seem to benefit him-solely? JuSatan was typing error but I thought I’d leave it in. It’s as if my fingers were being guided by a higher power.

Finally it appears that the end is near for the Trudeau Team as the fat lady has just sung.

I think Alberta should solicit for an end to all corruption or be given an equal opportunity like Quebec to compete in it . Lol

Once Butts has given his version and perhaps a few others will come forward to rebut Jody. All at the orders of Trudeau, as usual. They will make Jody look like the criminal and Trudeau look like a savior. He and his government body will suffer no consequences. Trudeau, even if guilty, will never serve a day in jail. Canadians don’t seem to be too outraged and the media is doing their part to soften the blow. Just another day in Shithole Canada. Looking at the voting in of Jagmeet in BC. It’s a strong indicator to me, that we will most likely be getting another Liberal, Trudeau led government, after the next election. I hope not, but the way things are going, we are on the road to disaster.

LIZA.. I will settle to get Justin out for now.. I am a max fan but I don’t see it happening and I hate to say it.. Andrew sheer is a pushover so he certainly will acquiesce to the people who put the most visible pressure on him.. and he looks like the next prime minister of Canada… I hope Max has a good enough showing to be the official opposition.
I still support Max Bernie and will vote for him. But on a sidenote Jody gave Junior a way out if he smart enough to see it..! Junior’s biggest problem is he’s never had to solve complex problems by doing the right thing he was always able to buy, intimidate, bully or somehow influence everybody around him his whole life into getting what he wanted and so this is very painful for him and he might be a slow learner. Pass the popcorn.. lol

Lets just say the Liberal govt did fall. That would mean Scheer would slide in. Then there would still be an election in Oct. wouldn’t there? By then the Liberals would have had time to regroup, find a new leader and run against Scheer anyway. Maybe its better to let Justin lose in Oct. or am I missing something? I want to see him get his just desserts, but I am nervous about how all of this will play out.

Jody gave him an out.!! For that out I’m sure she will be looking for one last political favour somewhere in this whole affair.. skippy knows that if she would’ve thought an indictable offence crime had been committed he just may do some time.. this might just be his checkmate in the court of public opinion but she will never hold Quebec and no longer can be a liberal anyway. I watched it on TV when she testified yesterday, she was asked if she thought a law was being broken and she replied no… But she also said the words “obstruction of justice” and “political interference” both of which constitute crimes. High crimes.!! One should also seriously consider conspiracy as well because all of the cabinet ministers were pressuring her to break the Law including Bill Morneau who himself was in front of an ethics commissioner .!! What the hell is the finance minister doing repeatedly trying to sway her decision.

I am disappointed by her testimony because in doing that she moderated the beating that Junior should’ve got and let him make some noise about “this is a matter for the ethics commissioner” as opposed to a panel of judges under oath.!! Nonetheless it’s very entertaining.!!
