Joel Pollak: Illegal alien minors aren't being locked in "cages"

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

On last night's show, Joel Pollak, Breitbart's Senior Editor-at-large, joined me to debunk some of the media's claims about illegal alien minors being locked in cages resembling Concentration Camps.

In reality, the detention centres the media are obsessing over are just temporary shelters where minors are housed before they're sent to specialized facilities.

WATCH my interview with Joel to see the real conditions illegal minors are living in and why the media is less interested in reporting on them.

“What did they do until Trump put this policy in place? That seemed to work.”

Silly Andrew. That policy was in place long before Trump. Look up the images of children in cages under the Obama administration and Killary talking about illegal immigration while she was Secretary of State. Canada has the same policy as do all western democracies. I ask again. Would you have the children put into prison with the criminal adults? B.T.W. It is well known that applying for asylum at a proper port of entry does NOT entail the same practices…..

10 000 of the 12 000 children were not accompanied by parents…they were handed over by their parents to child traffickers and set out on a very dangerous trip to illegally enter another country. So, these 10 000 children were removed from human traffickers who could have sold these children into slavery of all sorts.
So, for the remaining 2000 children, their parents broke the law and are now facing the consequences. The way to avoid being arrested & imprisoned is to claim asylum at a border crossing, follow legal channels.
American citizens who are sentenced to prison do not bring their children with them, nor should they. They are separated from their children until they are permitted to have visits. Why should illegal migrants be given a pass?

Thanks Rick… A fair question for the “all too clever” Ms. Stephenson…

So Andrew, you would have the children thrown in the klink with their criminal parents, or adult companions? Child Services Agencies across Canada take children away from their natural parents for much lesser reasons. As such, they end up in some sort of boarding facility, or where can be obtained, placed into a Foster Home.

Whether the “cages” are literal or figurative or not, isn’t the problem. That they’re being separated from their parents and tossed in these facilities at all is.
