John Cardillo: Trump flip-flops on DACA and the wall

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

On last night's show, retired NYPD police officer John Cardillo and I discussed Trump backing away from his campaign pledge to build a Mexican border wall and his "DACA" agreement with the Democratic leadership.

Trump fired-up crowds at rallies across America with the most notable policy of his insurgent campaign, building the wall. Now he's tweeting about renovating existing fencing along the border, a move that's leaving grassroots conservatives feeling betrayed.

On DACA, Trump has been in negotiations with Democrats Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer. Trump campaigned on deporting illegal immigrants and enforcing America's borders, but now a rumoured deal is being crafted that will allow hundreds of thousands of migrants will be permitted live in the United States.

WATCH my interview to see Trump's weak tweet, and to see why John thinks the 2018 midterms aren't looking good for the Republican establishment.

I find it very telling that the Trump supporters here, who thought he was going to change everything and make America great again with conservatism – are nowhere to be found in this thread because they realize they were suckered – despite being clearly warned that Trump has been a liberal all his life and he is only going to look out for himself.

Didn’t Trump also say that they were making four versions of the wall as test models to see which will be the one to use?

Great way to finance the wall: 100% deductible voluntary tax for the wall. The money would be taxed anyway, so just choose where you want the money to go. Then charge a $5.00/day visit visa for Mexicans who want to go into the US, or the option of a $20/week visa charge. This might reduce the number of illegals coming through the border and just staying, and it will bring mucho dollars that will go directly to the national coffers to offset the voluntary tax.

Worth a shot, and Mexico will pay for the wall.

Conservatives are morons – that is the bottom line.

Why? Well Trump has been a Democrat for his entire life pretty much, supported liberal causes, he was pro-choice and even loved Hillary Clinton, so it’s laughable that conservatives actually saw him as being conservative and supporting conservative view.

Trump only supports his views and Roman is right – he did what he had to do – say what he had to say to win, but will do none of it and will only look out for Trump and improving things for himself and his business.

Republicans were bamboozled.

Reading this on Breitbart over the past several days, I am now thinking that the only reason Trump ran for office as President was to have American manufacturing and business booming again.

He has never really been a Conservative and is known to have supported democratic causes as well in the past. He used DACA and “the wall” to get the highest office in the USA so as to bring business back to America not tackle issues such as illegal immigration
