Why Trudeau wants to bypass “hate speech” laws on social media

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

On last night's episode of The Ezra Levant Show, I went over the new names in the censorship merger between Big Tech and Big Government before heading out to the state-sponsored, left-wing billionaire funded Defend Media Freedom Conference.

Every week there's a new move towards censorship by the Trudeau government, and the mainstream media remains compliant.

The Rebel — and that means you, our viewers — has been mentioned by name in both Parliament by Trudeau himself and on the website for Public Safety as wrongthink.

We learned from the United Nations that there's no international definition for hate speech, and that it's up to countries to decide what that means. But Trudeau doesn't want to muck around with legal wrangling, not when he's demanding that social media sites shut down his critics.
