Justin demands pro-life Liberals put their souls on the line; what does that say about those who do?

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Host | The Gunn Show

I'm pro-life. I believe that a unique and precious human life exists at conception.

I say I believe it but what I mean is that I know it to be true, ethically, medically and spiritually.

We never really knew how Stephen Harper felt on the subject personally. He never proclaimed anything the way I just did. But as a man of principle, he realized that abortion is a matter of conscience. Stephen Harper understood that for many people, people like me, being pro-life is a matter of our very salvation. Asking us to be pro-choice is like asking us to literally sell our soul. So when the issue of opening up a debate about when life begins arose, Stephen Harper did not whip the vote. How could he ask anyone to put their soul on the line for the party?

But that’s what Justin Trudeau is doing. He insisted all of his MPs be pro-choice. Trudeau made being pro-choice a condition for being given the green light to run as a Liberal party candidate. He really did. I'm not a theologian but I am a lifelong Catholic.

Trudeau's position is a strange one for a man who presents himself as publicly Catholic and moreover it's totalitarian. How could anyone demand that a person of faith choose the Liberal party over their own moral convictions?

We know that some pro-lifers exist in the Liberal party. At their 2012 convention, 90% of the Liberal party membership reaffirmed their pro-choice stance. That’s a lot but it's far from unanimous. What about those pro-lifers who'd fold up their morality cards in the hopes that they'd be given a shot to sit in the green chairs in the House of Commons? What does that say about the kind of ethics of those people? It says they believe in the right to life up until it interferes with their personal desires to hold power. That bothers me.

This is the Christmas season. It’s a holy time for people like me when an unplanned child came to offer salvation for mankind.

And for the non religious, an unplanned child gave you a secular holiday to exchange gifts with loved ones.

See the value in the unexpected.

Mankind is supposed to represent Intelligence out of all of God’s creations and (for the Atheists) all life on earth. I seriously question that. I am beginning to think that Mankind is a virus to this Planet and when we kill ourselves, life will continue on its merry way like it did before we entered the stage.

Thank you Sheila for standing up for what we believe in.

Probably your best clip to date, Sheila. Thank you!

I see the majority of the commenters are men, men that can never get pregnant. If men were the ones getting pregnant, I doubt we would having this conversation.

Definite muzzling MPs is far worse than suggested muzzling of scientists. Fair and open, I think not.

Hmmm…..aborting the infidel children. What possible advantage could that be? Well, let’s see, for starters, one less combatant in the coming war against Muslims!

Ahh… Liberals… Tolerant and pro Diversity, except for ideas that vary from their own.

What Sam Young cannot comprehend is everything is an imposition of morality or lack of. That the law does not allow you to ho next door and shoot your neighbors is an imposition of morality which is imposed on the public by the passing of laws, Is he against that too? If not then what you have left is the pick and choose where it is OK to imposes one’s morality. A general guideline is it is OK to impose one’s morality when saving a life but not when taking one. Instances of self defense are the exception.

DAM THOMAS, good retort to Sam-I-Am, but will likely fall on deaf ears. Typical lefty, he is only here to malign and be disruptive. Sad case.

Sam Young: It is the left forcing their beliefs on everyone else. We are asked to pay for it. Nurses fear losing their job if they don’t assist and they fear discrimination in the pursuit of their career. The so called free choice is nothing more than the imposing of your morality (the lack of) on others and yet you cry as if your personal tights have been violated,

To the commentator who advises Sheila to go back to her barn maybe he should take his own advice and slither back into his burrow. Did you get on this blog by accident? Maybe you thought this was the pro choice location: you must have made a left turn instead of a right turn when you wriggled out of your den.

Sam Young – I, and many other people, are truly tired of the left telling us that we are forcing Christian values on people. You might have been fed the revised history so prevalent in today’s school textbooks that implies the Christianity never had any real impact on the establishment of Canada. Like the US, huge numbers of immigrants to Canada came here for religious freedom, having been persecuted in their home countries, and those people had a large influence on the laws of this land. Sure, some mistakes were made, but many of those were at the behest of the ruling governments, not the Christians. The result was a land that was at peace most of the time and got along well with its neighbours and trading partners, and became one of the most prospeous on earth. Individual freedoms were highly valued.
Those freedoms are being erased under the guise of “freedom.” Now we have the Left telling us what we can and cannot say, because someone will be offended, and some are even trying to tell us what we can or cannot think. They seem to think that they can create their own reality by saying something repetitively, believing it themselves and becoming angry with us if we don’t also believe it. Evidence that contradicts their position has little impact on their thinking. They force upon us all sorts of legislation that defies common sense, such as the idea that registering (or confiscating) guns will stop the criminal use of firearms. They institute all sorts of expensive and often ineffective programs that we all get to pay heavily for, and when that isn’t enough they borrow against the future earnings of our children. They do things like this article says: force MPs to vote a certain way, thus defeating the whole idea of democracy.
We are well on our way, I think, to a Greece-like financial disaster. We could also be risking serious civil unrest, with so many people feeling threatened by ideologies directly opposing their own beliefs. Freedom and tolerance seem to be OK for only some people, not everyone.

Sheila, Abortion is not the real issue, it is clearly wrong. If one were to have a baby whale aborted, in this society that persons life would be in grave danger. The true issue is about sin before the living God, whom whether you like or not we will all have to stand and give an account of our self’s. Abortion is just the symptom of the depravity to which our society has sunk, The killing of the innocent.
Before WWII in Germany, it was the handicapped that paid with their lives, Is that who is next in this society?
Believe it or not, it is only going to get worse. People, it is time for us all to stand and speak for those who can’t speak for themselves.

Well, if it isn’t Sheila holding onto Harper and applying her christian beliefs on everybody else. Because it’s drivel like that which will convert the voters to want to support the conservatives. Here is a piece of advice for you Sheila. You seem to know the farming business, so why don’t you go back to the barn where you belong.

Sorry, mam, but you’re wrong on this one. I’m pro-life and Catholic too; But I know that Stephen Harper voted against a bill which would pay for researching looking into the humanity of the unborn child. Harper too was definitely pro-abortion; the records on files show it. His wife was actively very pro-abortion. Just maybe if he weren’t, many of the many pro-life Liberals would have moved over to his side, but there was no point. Just for the record!

It’s interesting that Trudeau is such friends with the aboriginal peoples, who last time I looked, consider a child ‘a gift from the creator’ and don’t believe in abortion.

Cathy Rochford – the problem is getting the real truth out about this Liberal twit to the public. Between the educational brainwashing system, our corrupt legal system, the lying MSM, and the shallow pool of political talent now, it’s really quite pathetic, and devastatingly sad. It’s like we hired a two year old to be an engineer. I’m crossing my fingers, that the public sector employees realize the devil that they elected, could careless about anything Canadian, and they start to sabotage him. Trudy needed Canada’s assets, and that’s all he wanted, so that he could kill off our democracy for his own evil gain, and of course for his beloved terrorist group, the UN.

I’m 100% pro life too. Trudeau telling MP’s they have to be pro choice is representative of the way he plans to run Canada, as a dictator. He’s way out of line and needs to be under close scrutiny by the conservative opposition party and the general public for this vulgar Nazi/communist behaviour. One too many of these dictatorial moves is going to get heir gestapo imam Trudeau and his entire liberal party impeached, we can only hope.

Trudeau is a Muslim. The more abortions that Real Canadians have, the more room it makes for his Muslim brothers.

To all real Canadians. Shut off the TV at 10 pm then go to bed and and fornicate, bareback.

Due to the low birth rate of Canadians, we are soon going to become extinct.

A Muslim can, with four wives, produce four kids a year, until his wives are worn out. He then goes out and grabs four new wives and starts over again.

Wake up Boys and Girls!

KELLY WEBER, “If your against abortion don’t get one”. How often have we heard such an inane comment? How about, “If your against slavery, don’t have one.”

According to the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, brought in by Trudeau’s daddy, " freedom of conscience and religion" is identified as a “fundamental freedom”. So, accordingly, Justin Trudeau is violating the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
With respect to Trudeau presenting as Catholic, it is noteworthy that according to an article at LifeSite News (which is managed by Roman Catholics), “How the Catholic Church helped Canada elect its most pro abortion prime minister in history”, the hierarchy of the Catholic church, failing to do so, may have contributed to Trudeau’s election:
Excerpt: “The fact is that this sad reality may never have come about were it not for the support given by the Catholic Church, sometimes implicit and other times very open, as one of her most public sons flouted her basic moral teachings and did so even in the name of the faith.”
By he way, the current Pope, Pope Francis, also endorsed another one of Trudeau’s key election planks, climate change. Pope Francis has also pronounced “Koran And Holy Bible Are The Same”:
and has defended Islam as a “peaceful religion”:
Thereby supporting Trudeau’s narrative as per his statement issued following on the Charlie Hebdo terror attacks in France: “These individuals represent a perversion of Islam, and we must continue to work in mutual cooperation and respect with the Muslim community to prevent the influence of distorted ideology and propaganda masquerading as religion.”

@terry Gain…..prior to Harper spelling it out that it is unlawful to abandon a newborn nobody got charged for doing so……technically the newborn is not a “person” until the ink is dry on a birth certificate.

Bill Elder: So does a person have to be black to know racism is wrong? Does a person have to be bullied to know bullying is wrong? Does a person have to be a woman to know abortion is wrong? If someone is going to use my tax dollars to pay for something I loathe and make me partake in their evil your damn right I have a right and am going to express it regardless of the way the mainstream media has been trying to brain wash the masses. The biggest con job that went on in the media is to sell us on the idea men have no right to an opinion. Then they take your money to fund it. If you are a tax payer you have a right. If you are about life you have a right.

I cannot wait for someone to stand up and declare they will not follow the gay boy pm directive.

No matter how many low life liberals there are – I bet there are at least one or two that have some scruples.

We will see.

The most dangerous simpleton in Canada was put in charge! This will not bode well for humanity, and is happening so that this world can be put out of its misery.
commented 2015-12-30 11:56:35 -0500
According to several different scriptures, we receive our souls at conception. Except for rape or medical issues, abortion is all about convenience. Using precautions can be inconvenient. The unborn can either be valued more precious than gold or have no value at all and only the mother, who was fortunate enough not be aborted, has the right to decide if her unborn child has value. It’s also very convenient that society demands women have the right to choose but the unborn are incapable of demanding the right to live.

Those who continuously claim “its’ a woman’s choice”, “it is her body”, again and again and over and over … you are right! She bears the responsibility of deciding to murder that baby.

This isn’t about abortions, it’s about sheep.

Is there anything more spineless than your average toe-the-line MP? Think of it. I can count on the fingers of one hand the federal MPs over the last forty years who have stood their ground. Every now and then the back-benchers moan about being powerless – and that’s true, but the state of affairs has been largely self-inflicted. They trade whatever sense of right and wrong they may have for the prospect of perks and positions. If they showed some balls and backbone regularly, Canada would be a better place and Parliament would function as an institution that better represents the public, rather than an instrument of the party in power.
