We’re all aware of the effusive praise Trudeau won for his easy response to the question of why it was so important to achieve gender parity in his cabinet - “Because it’s 2015”.
I pointed out at the time though why the flippant response shouldn’t have been the last word on the issue but after a disturbing episode with Conservative MP Michelle Rempel yesterday, I think it’s fair for us to ask, how does Trudeau really feel about women?
To his credit, Minister McCallum has apologized for his patronizing remark but Trudeau, has not.
Will the Media Party do the right thing and question the Prime Minister on why he felt it was okay to smirk and laugh throughout this event?
So much for setting a different tone in the House of Commons.

What? I think many would conclude Ivision is a Conservative insider, who was fed info for several of his National Post columns from Harper’s PMO, to float trial balloons to the public.
Keep showing us your true colours Justin.
No one has anything to apologize for except Rempel…for being a conservative moron.
Canada’s most juvenile naïve PM – never happened before and will never happen again. Enjoy Justin, but you do owe us an apology.

I recall John Ivison (National Post) saying on CTV Question Period that Harper “never retracts, never apologizes, and never explains.”

And your point is?
That piece of trash ivison was a hater from day one.
SUNNY TIMES as we welcome Syrian refugees??? Keep it up and it’s going to be SUNNI times.

Please!
Not refugees – they are the new and never ending line of welfare recipients – nothing more.
Well it’s clear what YOU think of women. The question here is more about whether the Prime Minister agrees.
It’s also clear that his meaning was plain to the members from the Liberal benches, including the Prime Minister we’re told, laughing like hyenas at McCallum’s remark. Unless, that is, they’d have us believe the notion of MPs feeling ‘sunny’ about the arrival of these migrants to be a laughing matter.
The smile on his face says a lot.

Justin just keep on being you.

He missed all 4 Question Periods.
