Katie Hopkins in Israel: A “bizarre” sign on the road to Bethlehem

Katie HopkinsShillman Fellow

It's absolute madness to me that Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus, used to be 95 per cent Christian and is now only 12 per cent.

But this sign we came upon on the road into the city was truly bizarre.

I didn't even see signs like this in South Africa...

Canaanites were not modern day Lebanese. They haven’t existed for thousands of years. They were invaded by the Hyksos, Horites, Amorites and others to such an extent that it is impossible to connect them with any one group today.

12% Christians left, may have a great deal to do with Koran and the prescriptive edicts to slay the unbeliever… convert or enslave are also options.
Christians are the most persecuted worldwide.

Bethelham was first inhabited by the Canaanites (modern-fay Lebanese). Muslims inhabited it for 400 years. Turks, Romans, and Greeks all ruled it at one time. It eventually became Palestinian with many Christian Palestinians still living there.
