Kellie Leitch blasts liberal elites and left-wing media for pushing “open border globalist agenda” in Fox interview

StaffRebel Columnist

Conservative Leadership Candidate Kellie Leitch appeared on Fox Business yesterday under the title of 'Canada's Donald Trump' to promote screening immigrants for Canadian values.

Host David Asman introduced Leitch by saying Trump's “anti-establishment brand has found some common ground with folks north of the border.”

Leitch told him that the elites and left-wing media oppose screening immigrants for Canadian values because they're “out of touch with the average Canadian” and push their “open border globalist agenda to feather their own cap”.

“Right now only one in ten immigrants receive a face-to-face interview,” she said explaining how we should be screening immigrants. “Two thirds of Canadians agree with me,” she added.

Asman then suggests that Canada is becoming more like Europe cities with 'no go zones' where police are afraid to go.

Barack Obama has been criticized for his ignorance of foreign policy and his general lack of understanding of world issues, yet Jay, he was elected twice and is a major contributor to the problems of the world.

I’m certain that Dr. Kellie Leitch can do much better for Canada than our present fearless leader, Justin Baby Doc Trudeau who has given away over 6 billion Canadian dollars to foreign countries that do not share our values, or to support UN pipe dreams.

Surely someone who has many accomplishment behind her is more capable of being our PM than a canoe instructor, a professional world hitch hiker, ski bum/snowboarder, bar bouncer, and fill-in (ergo “part time” on demand) high school drama teacher all rolled up in a trust fund baby who believes small business are no more than “the playthings of the rich” or that if you have a pension you are rich.

In just a few months in office Baby Doc brought us from a $7.5 billion surplus to a $30+ billion deficit, and made Canada into an international joke. At least Dr, Leitch has an understanding of economics and has a Masters in that field of study, unlike our present PM who dropped out of both McGill and U of Montreal.

Jay Kelly wrong as usual , sorry but we are tired of being second to terrorists who are not even immigrants because they were let in without checks. If you love them so much go wipe their asses for them and let them have your home.

Thanks again Jay, the all knowing commentator, for putting everything into such clear perspective for us bandwagon riding rebels.
commented 2017-01-05 02:09:05 -0500
No Jay, Rebel’s are known for backing the one who makes some sense and doesn’t continually attempt to jam a square peg into a round hole as the left does.
Justin’s IQ score explains a lot.

Kellie Leitch has been criticized for her ignorance of foreign policy and her general lack of understanding of world issues.

But watch out! She may try a strategy that works. She may try to attract conservative followers by saying things like she is for Canada first, or “immigrants must be put in second place.”

There are a lot of so-called ‘Conservative’ supporters she will attract, including a lot from The Rebel. The Rebel supporters are known for “jumping on the bandwagon.”

Peter Babich—-Justin’s IQ 80 Kelly Leitch’s IQ 115

At the absolute minimum Kellie has got people talking about the issues that really matter to real Canadians not the luke warm liberal conservative phoney crap issues the far left, the fake conservatives and the far left media are telling us are our concerns. I give her kudos for the courage to do that.

I wonder how Justin’s resume measures up against hers

What she is saying, is exactly what I am thinking. Their are some people, bigots, who don’t like the way she speaks. Their only criticism is on how she speaks, with is a very obvious form of bigotry, and an very ugly one at that. You can not be in control of your skin colour, hair color, gender, eye color, or speech patterns. To criticize and ridicule based on those and a few other criteria that are founded on what you are, rather than who you are is despicable and I will call anyone out as a bigot who lowers themselves to that level! Her ideas, her qualifications, and her clear commitment to making Canada safe and prosperous are what matters. I support Kelly Leitch 100%.

She is an awful speaker with zero personality and charisma. She actually comes across as creepy. She will not be the conservative leader.

I will give Kellie credit for side-stepping some pretty irrelevant questions. The interviewer is correct on one thing, when you look at Kellie’s background, she is OVER qualified to be a parliamentarian. She has taught at 2 prestigious medical schools in Canada, has an MBA along with her Masters in medicine. She created a business program at Western University that is included in their medical program. She has been head of the Hospital for Sick Kids in Ontario.. yet the media and the left brand her as some racist because she believes that all immigrants should be interviewed before being let in our country as refugees or to become citizens.

AND this is a BIG one: She wants to END support for the CBC! I’m with her so far…
commented 2017-01-04 18:48:58 -0500
Okay – Kellie Leitch isn’t PERFECT but she’s still a FAR cry from all the other incumbents….if we can’t have a full glass it’s still better than an empty one! At least she will TRY to do something about immigration, Carbon tax, pipelines, energy, Israel and maybe more as she reveals the details of her platform.
commented 2017-01-04 17:59:13 -0500
Kellie Leitch is making a loud name for herself on the refugee issue = only!
She is not pro-life, she is pro-LGBT politics and agenda, she is not being vocal about any of those issues other than the refugee screening process.
Where the blank are the rest of the PC candidates? Instead of making a voice for themselves, they are acting like the rest of the republican candidates who kept commenting on, crying about Donald Trump. Poor little Lisa Raitt was so whiny in her tv statement on how Leitch and O’Leary are creating divisiveness in the PC party. Somebody…call the wambulance! This is a replay of the Republicans vs Trump tv show!
Leitch is not the right person for the job. If you notice, her speech pattern was very controlled in the Fox interview. I hate to say that this is a big drawback for her.

She is just an awful person and thankfully Canada isn’t like the US in that the vast majority of this country are varying degrees of liberal, so she won’t have a hope in hell here. Hell our reasonable conservatives here would be deemed liberal in America.
commented 2017-01-04 17:14:58 -0500
Wow, good for Kellie for taking this message down south! We can use all the support that the Americans are willing to give us! Have to admit that was a smart move.

Damn, while I agree with all she has said and am an actually a supporter I have a real concern with Kellie. She does not present a strong leader “persona”. She needs to get crustier with more bite in her speech or talking mannerisms. Needs some of that “Iron Lady” persona. If she had that she would be a shoe in as the next CPC leader. Get tough Kellie!!!

Finally a CANADIAN leader who speaks for us! KellieLeitch for conservative party Canada. She is brave to go against all the opposition – Libs, Media and even members of her own Conservative Party! Now if we could only find one in ALBERTA. We only have WIMPS running for office here. Alberta Conservatives would be wise to take a few tips from Kellie Leitch!
commented 2017-01-04 13:48:38 -0500
Good for Ms Leitch. She is right, Canada is becoming like Europe and it will continue to do so, as long as we have Trudeau and his Gang of Retards, kissing the well used Butt of this Death Cult, known by Idiots as Islam.

Go Kellie Go ! Finally a Canadian politician that looks out for average people .
