Kellie Leitch: “Women come up to me and say, ‘Now I feel I have a voice’”

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

On last night's show, Conservative Party leadership hopeful Kellie Leitch joined me to talk about the reaction to her idea that immigrants should be screened for Canadian values.

She says she wasn't surprised by the negative reaction by the elites, and has had many ordinary people thank her for broaching a subject they were afraid to talk about.

She has backbone and conviction. I haven’t heard her say anything that most Canadians would disagree. Hopefully, the MSM won’t do a hatchet job on her as they did on Stephen Harper.

I am also impressed with Leitch standing up to the MSM and the leader of her own Party
I’m also starting to listen to Maxime Bernier. He is saying a lot of controversial things that the Liberals are afraid to say as they may not be Politically Correct. I know;— not another PM from Quebec !

If Kelly Leitch can continue to have a back bone when the Elites disparage her and to continue to espouse truly conservative positions I would take out a cConservative membership and support her. So far I like what I hear.

Dr. Leitch sounds more interesting to me every time she has opportunity to speak. She’s a no BS type of person who is willing to engage the enemy on an intellectual and ethical level.

So far, she has distinguished herself as someone who can put controversy to work for her.

She has a certain confidence about her and a strength in her convictions. She doesn’t waver. Or say Uhhh…. uhhh… every second word. Or at all for that matter. I like it. No weakness.

I agree Don selecting only because she is a woman is wrong. This woman def stands out from the crowd of contenders, she is not afraid to speak up.

Some people say it’s time we have a woman as prime minister, I don’t agree if that’s her only qualification. I think we need a prime minister with common sense, Kellie fits the bill.
