Kenney kicks off unofficial campaign for PC leader with “Truck Tour”: NDP partisans feign outrage

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Host | The Gunn Show

Jason Kenney announced the kick off off his provincial truck tour in Edmonton on Monday saying he’ll drive in his pick-up truck to the farm gates, back roads and everywhere in between to get a sense of what matters to the people of Alberta.

The tour is part of Kenney’s quest to be the new leader of the listless Progressive Conservative Party in Alberta.

It was my second Kenney unite the right press conference and also the second time I’ve heard him answer why he hasn’t officially resigned his role as a Federal MP. Unlike other politicians who have campaigned for another office, he said he’ll resign at the official start of the PC leadership campaign and not at the end of it.

Kenney isn’t the first MP, MLA or even city councillor to keep their job while they ran for another level of government. It’s done all the time, on the left and the right.

And if lefties want to make a big deal about politicians doing this, they should start in their own backyard.

Watch as I provide just a few examples of politicians on the left who managed to avoid these kinds of questions.

The NDP and their partisans are going to have to do a lot better than pretending to be mad at Kenney for announcing his intentions for a new elected office while holding another.

As you can see, it’s a little late for them to start caring now.

The voters that care enough to follow these things will not be fooled by changing the decal on the front of the sinking ship. So, he has to clean house, or the Wildrose will thrive and split the vote.

“…both Kenney and Jean are doing things that Rachel Notley just can’t bring herself to do.”
It would seem that nasty haridan, with the corruption scarred mug is notley as stupid as she looks…I don’t blame her for being in fear of her life and limb and not venturing into the heartland of Alberta where all her victims are trying to survive her criminality, treachery and treason…

I see the NDP are toting their great success of Bill6 this morning.
They claim there are almost double the accidents being reported to WCB as before. Well no Sh— eh!
Farmers used private insurance before Bill6 was imposed on Alberta farmers. Why would farmers buy two layers of insurance. How stupid do they think Albertans are?(Although CBC bought into it, hook line and stinker)

Kenney. Is he the guy who stood up and said that this “climate change” bullshit was going to ruin Alberta and the rest of Canada if allowed to continue?

No, eh…….

Hopefully when Jason Kenny wins the leadership for the PC party, his first and ongoing move will be to make the party unbearable for the wolves in sheep’s clothing, the liberals wearing a blue tie, so they will get up off their traitorous asses and leave the party.

Jason must do some sort of purging get get rid of the manure that has built up in that party. Then once the feces are shovelled out, he can proceed to unite the PCs with the real Conservative party, the WildRose.

Those opposed to Jason taking on the PC party leadership, get used to it. It is going to happen. And Jason will take votes away from the WildRose. I don’t like that they will lose votes, but it is a fact, Get over it and hope Jason will be able to shovel the shit out of the party and make it conservative once again.

Good Luck Jason Kenney!… Hope you really, really do listen to what Albertans outside of Redmonton have to say, and while you’re at it, might I suggest you do a few pushups and situps at the side of the road each morning to get the day started?…

Of course the NDP is scoffing , he says he will go to farms and rural areas, the NDP does not consider those people to be worth anything.

Jason wasn’t my choice Federally, however I believe he will be a star in Alberta once he unites the right. Jason, just don’t talk or think Religion until Sunday when you are in Church.

If Alberta separates, Kenney’s experience will be valuable. King Kenney ???

How about this: Kenney campaigns for leader of the PC’s. When it looks like he’s a shoo-in, he contacts Brian Jean. I wonder if Brian would take a cabinet post? Sure, the WR is ahead in seats and polls (so far) but if Kenney gets real popular it could be a resurgence of the PC’s. If Kenney offered Jean a choice cabinet post, could he convince Jean and the rest of the WR to make Kenney leader of that party also? One election later, and Kenney’s in charge of a uinited right wing party and the province. If Jean could do that, he’d already have done it but it would be difficult to unseat the bosses at the PC party. Kenney, by virtue of being the leader of the PC’s, is in a much better position to unite the right.
Really, coming from Saskatchewan, I gotta say I don’t really care who unites the right in Alberta, as long as someone does. I’m getting pretty sick of the oilpatch being so dead.

A point to ponder, what if his intent is not to clean out the liberals from the PC’s. He is part of the reason why there are so many mosques in Alberta. what are his views on Preston Manning? Carbon tax/levies? I’ve got a lot of misgivings about this guy and I hope I will see him on some back road to question him on some of these subjects. Don’t get me wrong, I would like to see the right unite, I just wish we could do it on our own without an other ex Ottawa plant coming to this province to show us what we’re doing wrong, we have enough eastern plants here as it is, that’s why IMO is why we’re in the mess we find ourselves in today.

Jason’s goal is to unite the right. He has to be elected leader first, and then clean house of all the liberals hiding under the PC banner. The ones hiding have been squawking the loudest, so they should be easy to weed out. He will unite the right, if given the chance! Rachel and her gang of union thugs, and enviro nuts will say anything to discredit him. Rachel should know by now that talk is cheap, and actions speak louder than words! Jason will back up what he says, and she knows it!

Nice truck. I especially like that it’s not orange. I hate orange. Hate it more every day.

A brief word of advice from an ol’ white, unprivileged & robbed, pissed off dude – Mr. Kenny – if it is your desire to win over the silent majority (and even many of the loud lefty Libtards) – you need to closely analyze what Mr Trump is saying & doing. Us Canadians are pissed off with government just as much as Americans – really hope you get that point!

I Like Kenny, he is an effective MP, I just have wonder if this is some vanity move, because IF he douse end up leading the red horde that is the ACP, he will inevitably split the vote again because Jean ’s/WR support is solid and not going any where, particularly back to an un-purged PC party.

Seems a coalition pact is in the offing.
