In this segment of my indepth interview with Kevin O'Leary, I ask him to share his beliefs and principles on foreign policy.
Watch as Kevin explains what his experience growing up on the island of Cyprus taught him about our Canadian military.

Peace keeping is dead.
I was a peace keeper in Israel and Syria and Lebanon.
We brought home many bodies in bags and the Canadian government did little more than bury my friends with nothing but a box and a cross. Anyone even remember the Buffalo crew in Damascus?
??????
Thought so.
Anyone know how many peace keepers died?
Thought so.
Anyone know haw many wounded are still trying to get benefits today?
Thought so.
The enemy is not prepared to accept peace keeping.
In order for peace to be maintained the following needs to happen.
1. Peace must be created – either through negotiations or through bullets and bombs. That means killing – something Canadian governments do not allow – the lawyers approve all combat mission in the field before they are launched. Most folks do not know that.
2. Peace can then be enforced – that means you’re own people are on the front lines – often unarmed and alone and very exposed. They need to actually be prepared to kill not negotiate.
Does anyone think Canadians under this government or O’Leary will do this? If you do you are an idiot.
3. Peace can only be maintained when the PUNISHMENT is severe enough to prevent breaking the treaty.
We send people with poor arms and poor equipment and under the control of the United Nations – the worlds most corrupt organization. My last peace keeping boss was a woman from the Congo – she had several high degrees – all purchased – but she was female, black and islamic – so she got the job – all through family connections and nothing more. We saved our own asses many times by simply ignoring her.
I have also done the combat gig in A’stan.
Anyone who talks of peace keeping is a bullshit artist with no real outlook on what happens when you actually put boots on the ground.
I spit on anyone who actually thinks peace keeping works today in today’s environment
As for Syria – if you were to leave Assad alone he could rebuild the country. In fact if we had backed him from the start this would all be over now.
In fact even the western backed rebels had a hand in killing Christians that Assad actually protected in Syria – something no one even talks about..
O’Leary is so full of shit his eyes are brown.
Cyprus – I have been there – was so long ago as to be completely irrelevant in today’s combat zones.
Rant over – O’Leary can fcuk (deliberate misspelling) right off on this topic and go back to what he knows best – making money.
MAURICE POTVIN. I am certainly proud of what this nation did in two world wars, Korea, and Afghanistan. But I am disgusted with the gutlessness of our politicians and our population. And it’s not just the Liberals and NDP; most of our Conservatives are politically correct sissies who will never get my vote. There is nothing – except the length of time it will take them to bring us to rock bottom – that differentiates them from the rest. Do we want to take the fast elevator to the bottom of the cess-pool, or the fast one?
turdo la doo is nothing but a fitting snapshot of a growing segment of our population: shallow, stupid, and self-obsessed.
And I’ll be honest, had you told me three years ago that I’d like Donald Trump, I’d say you’re crazy. But what I’ve seen from him in the past year, he seems to be for real. If Kevin O’Leary becomes a right-wing populist then sure he’s got a chance. Same for Trudeau… You ever feel like deserting your wretched father’s legacy, standing up and saying “We’re getting a raw deal”… Then you’ll be my new favorite guy. Til then, you’re a piece of shit to fertilize the garden with, just like O’Leary.
I never want to see a Canadian soldier with a blue helmet on we have lost too many soldiers trying to keep the peace when there is no peace to keep.
Let us not forget that a large portion of this guy’s wealth was obtained by selling a two-bit educational software to GOVERNMENT. That’s right.
Any time I’ve seen Dragon’s Den, the pompous ass O’Leary takes a special liking to destroying dumb peoples’ self-worth. He is a hurtful piece of shit prototype that media execs stick in to the “popular” shows, be it Simon Cowell or that goof Gordon Ramsey… Same shit different channel.
O’Leary could perhaps do some acting work in motion pictures; He’d make a great greedy hedge fund manager character, or some piece of shit unethical lawyer… But he may be typecast for doing it so well.
The USA is undergoing a mostly peaceful revolution to restore their Republic… And all Canada’s “conservatives” have to offer is washed-up Tory trash losers (Ambrose, Bernier, Kenney, etc) and fucking Kevin O’Leary. God Damn… Billy Bob Thornton said it best to Jian Gropemeshi, “Canada is like fries without gravy”.
Take off your sweater-vests, smoke a joint, shoot some guns, stop being so terribly boring and proper you bunch of Tory fags.
But I don’t want t send one Canadian as a peace keeper and never to a Muslim country left them kill each other.
couldn’t say what low-testosterone boy was talking about…

Your adopted country has a large military force. It also has its nose in every nation’s business whether the nation wants it or not and whether the American people want it or not.
The American economy needs to have a war going on somewhere on the planet so that it can sell the arms produced by its military industrial complex and a place where they can carry out real world military exercises. Ever wonder how many soldiers are the children of politicians?
A story appeared recently saying that the American “Raptor” fighter costs $50,000 +/- to operate. That is the salary of a middle income family for a year. Yet the US wants to waste this money flying their war toys. Makes sense only to Hawks like yourself.
How many empoverished citizens, elderly people and people needing medical attention could be helped ,to only in the US but around the world with the money being spent fighting these endless wars of attrition.
Still, these wars will never end because of Hawks like yourself and the elite 3% of Americans who benefit from arms sales, fuel sales and as well as the service industry supplying body bags, funeral paraphernalia when your young citizens are brought back home in body bags?
Yes, the US is a land of freedom and opportunity, but seemingly more so for the elite few! Still better in Canada even under the dictatorship of the MUS-LIBS since we know there will be an end to their evil rule within the next four years!
Adios DC and

O’Leary didn’t even go to school in Canada as a kid? I really question his suitability at all.
This O’Leary sounds like a Liberal dressed up and pretending to be Conservative. I’ll take somebody else for a hundred dollars , Alex.
The UK Forces consist of many Muslims also. As for Russia, 48% of their armed forces are Muslims.
We and many other Country’s will soon find out that our Armed Forces are in fact our Armed Enemy’s.
No respects the peacemaker. To make peace, you need superior firepower and the will to destroy your enemy. Canada is no military of any effect, so they will be pushed around by everyone. Even France has disregard for Canada’s military, which says a lot.
The Canadian military has one of those three, very well trained, but is hindered by not having enough of and the best equipment available especially when a Liberal government is in power and cuts their budget.
And they are hindered by using force to keep the peace when a Liberal government is in power.
The Liberals love to cripple our military.
