Kevin O’Leary is no Trump (or even a true conservative)

Faith GoldyRebel Host

The Media Party will label Conservative Party leadership hopeful Kevin O'Leary "Canada’s Donald Trump" — replacing Kellie Leitch who, for now, holds that title.

But on last night's show, I warned you:

Don’t be fooled. Kevin O’Leary is no Donald Trump.

More importantly, Kevin O’Leary is no conservative...

PS: Check out my weekly show "On the Hunt", only available to Premium Members of TheRebel.media.

You also get access to programs by Ezra Levant, Lauren Southern, Gavin McInnes and Tiffany Gabbay.

We've got THREE different membership levels, too. Find out more HERE.

SHEBEL RAJ, “but how the hell can a Conservative expect to win in Ontario unless they exude these silly platitudes ? Doesn’t necessarily have to enact them After he wins”. The latter deceit sounds like pragmatism; not what I think of as a conservative value and principle. The Liberals and NDP have the ‘progressive’ vote and conservatives risk losing their social conservative base )about 30% in Ontario. So when is standing up for truth and right a liability. The left-wing media has scared us into thinking like that. Trump adopted some pretty conservative social policies and it didn’t hurt him. He didn’t shy away. You couldn’t get anyone more in favor of abortion than Hillary, recipient of Planned Parenthood’s Margaret Sanger Award. I would rather go down fighting, standing firmly on conservative principles and truth (such as man-made global warming being a sham and Islam not being ‘a religion of peace’) than go down with a whimper by bowing to pragmatism and political correctness and sacrificing those principles!

I agree with you Ron Voss— but how the hell can a Conservative expect to win in Ontario unless they exude these silly platitudes ? Doesn’t necessarily have to enact them After he wins.

LEVITICUS 2013, with respect to “I would vote for anyone, whom I thought could rid us of the current Idiot PM Trudeau, even if it were Carl (sic) Marx”, you are correct about the problem, “Canadians tend to react on their emotions as opposed to gut instincts and logical discussion from the candidates”. makes me think be careful what you wish for, even if it were Karl Marx (basically a socialist replacing another socialist)! For some, O’Leary’s their imaginary savior without really knowing much about him except for some similarities to Trump. I, as well. would like to see Brad Trost get more media time, a true conservative who has been in the trenches in the House of Commons since 2004 fighting for Canadians; not an onlooking opportunist. In January CTV reported that O’Leary said he would be a good candidate to run the country “because all I care about is the economy.” As if caring for the economy somehow makes him unique with respect to every other candidate, but saying that’s “all” he cares about also makes him a one-note, half-baked conservative candidate, strictly focusing on the economy. Dave Rutherford’s kind of man. He also distanced himself from Donald Trump saying that Muslims should be banned from entering the U.S., by saying he’s a “proud, inclusive Canadian” who believes that the country should “embrace every culture and every religion (presumably including Islam).” Sounds a lot like Ontario’s Patrick Brown who has declared, “I am determined to lead a PC Party that is modern, inclusive, pragmatic”.

O’Leary sounds like a liberal.

JIMMY REECE I heard that your handler at the CBC was looking for you. Call her quick or you will lose that job as well.
commented 2016-12-15 01:59:15 -0500
You’re not retarded Jimmie you are a mutant and you are not qualified to speak on anything.
Scrap. Flush.

Liza Rosie,

It’s not that I am all out for O’Leary, it’s just that Faith Goldy is retarded by comparison and not even qualified to talk to him. I would love to watch a debate. He will kill her.

David/Marty,

I couldn’t care less than Hillary lost. In fact, I am glad – because there are people that I prefer to run in 2020, so it’s good to get her out of the way.

Jimmy Reece goes all out for O’leary. That’s good enough for me.

We need a true conservative like Trump who will:
1. Get rid of socialized health care. No more welfare state.
2. Boost the military.
3. Get rid of ALL drilling and fracking regulations. Global warming is FAKE.
4. Replace “politicians” with corporate CEOs that know how to make big money deals.

Kevin O’Leary is Waffling . It pretty much shows what he would be like as a PM.
Go Waffle yourself , Kevin . Canadians have been Waffled enough with Justin.

JIMMY REECE go back to CBC where you belong and take all your thoughts and comments with you, that is where your fake news comments belong.
Hillary lost – repeat that to yourself over and over until you finally get it – your hero L O S T.

@keith BARNES….. Groucho, Harpo, maybe even Zeppo, but I don’t know about Carl. He and Tubor Tot would be virtually interchangeable.

@jimmy REESE…. Are you posting during your coffee breaks as you continue to count Hillary’s votes? By the way, Faith has more intelligence in one of her shaved off pubic hairs than you do in your entire body.

Canada has no business in NATO anyway. Trump is right. Nations that don’t pay their fair share need to pay up or get out. NATO members are supposed to pay at least 2% of their GDP to NATO military spending. Why are we paying only .99%?? We look like deadbeats compared to the Americans. Sad.

That’s the problem… Canadians tend to react on their emotions as opposed to gut instincts and logical
Discussion from the candidates… We need a system more like the USA when the candidates get up and have a debate amongst themselves of what their core policies are and how they would approach Canada’s problems. in that kind of arena there is no script writing there’s no speechmakers there is only flying by the seat of your pants and your ability to think quick and land on your feet.
Kelly Leach is no Donald Trump either…!!
In the interm of this happening
I would like to see Brad Trost get more media time..

Kevin O’ Leary has more intelligence in one strand of the hair that he has left than Faith Goldy has in her entire body. He would eviscerate her in a debate that I would pay money to see.

Lets learn our lesson folks, that is how we ended up where we are now, in our rush to get rid of Harper we jumped into a dogshit pile by electing the little skid mark we have now.

I sincerely know of no one in the Canadian political arena to get behind in order to undue the damage that has been done in only one year of power.

I keep hearing about Brad Trost but he needs to come out swinging NOW against the liberals and their Globalist UN masters or he won’t have a chance.

I said it on the main show comment area last night – do not trust Kevin O’Leary.
O’Leary is all about money and how much he can put into his own pocket. He could care less about Canada and our values unless it makes him richer.
He is a mean spirited bully.
Brad Trost is our best bet, but is not known very well, so lets start talking about him to friends and neighbors and get him known.

Brad Troast is the best candidate for the federal Conservative party at this time.

Kevin O’Leary has more business experience than Troast.

However, Brad Troast has bachelor degrees in geophysics and economics. But most important, he is a social Conservative and a Christian.

I am sure, though, that the main stream media will mercilessly and relentlessly attack him for those two things. The CBC especially has a seething hatred, and I really do mean “hatred”, for true blue social Conservatives and Christians.

I hope Brad has a thick skin.

The Conservative party must take a stance that is a clear alternative to the socialist agenda, otherwise the Conservative party is just a “Liberal lite”.

I really like Brad Trost, I think listening to him a few times, he would be better than Kellie Leitch. Bernier is a quebecer and I am sorry but I don’t want nor do we need another quebecer at the helm ever again.
commented 2016-12-14 10:48:23 -0500
I can’t stand Dragon’s Den or Shark Tank and NO Entrepreneur needs those ❤️

Maxime Bernier is a Statesman like Stephen Harper, Donald J Trump & Benjamin Netanyahu – getting rid of Supply Management ( for starters ) is something to look forward to ❤️

Kellie Lietch would be good in a Bernier Government ❤️

And for crying out loud, NEVER listen to the Media Party! 😖😖😖😖😖😖😖💔

O’Leary is an unprincipled, politically ignorant rich guy looking for a bigger sandbox. He thinks egoism is the same as integrity and conservative principles. He thinks he can catch the same wave Donald Trump rode to power but he ain’t Donald Trump and this ain’t Kansas.

Vote Maxime Bernier or Kelly Leitch. We need somebody who can at least speak Conservative.
