Kurt Schlichter: A return of the rule of law?

Kurt SchlichterHost of Take That

Attorney General William Barr is doing something we have not seen in a long, long time... he's proposing to hold accountable high government officials for their violations of the law.

As we approach the one-year anniversary of Andrew McCabe being referred for possible criminal prosecution, and as demonstrated perjurers like Comey, Clapper and Brennan walk the streets free and Hillary Clinton stumbles through the forest, our country faces a question: Are we subject to the rule of law, or are there two distinct legal systems?

Is there one legal system for the liberal elite, and another for us?

Ask General Mike Flynn!

But maybe, just maybe, Attorney General Barr is going to change the system to "justice" from "just us."

“Justice” systems don’t run on truth; they run on money. Those who can afford the best legal teams get acquitted; those who can’t, get convicted. Guilt or innocence has precious little to do with it. Not only that, but far too many judges are in somebody’s back pocket as well.

After more than two years of dragged out BS, butt-covering, and diversion, the next three to four weeks are going to be very “troublesome” for members of the former Obama administration, the Democrats, and obviously about 90 per cent of the American news media…

We have the same elitist mob running Canada. Prime Minister Trudeau was found guilty of 5 ethics law violations but nothing happened. He didn’t resign or get a hefty fine. And like you said, Kurt, ordinary folks like us would be in the slammer for years had we done the exact same thing.

A glimmer of hope was sighted when former Obama White House Counsel, Greg Craig, was indicted for lying to the FBI. This should be the “tipping point” and the walls should be “closing in” on the soft coup plotters, but I will believe it when I see it. Let the perp walks commence. (I hope.)
