Kurt Schlichter: How to prevent a mid-term “blue wave”

Kurt SchlichterHost of Take That

The polls say you're going to drown in the blue wave... but can we trust those polls? Do you really believe a beta male pinko will beat Ted Cruz in Texas? My unicorn thinks so!

Ix nix blitz nix and gooblydee goo Ms. Stephenson!… Once again you are assuming that word BS games baffles brains… The fact is: Clinton’s tally was just under 72,000 votes shy of Barack Obama’s popular vote count in the 2012 election. Donald Trump won 30 states in the 8 November election, securing 306 of the 538 Electoral College votes – 56.9 per cent of the total. Verified on Dec 21, 2016

Ask Roy Moore about that one.

Who trusts polls anymore?! Remember the vast majority of polls predicted HRC would win…"
And they were right. They measure popular vote, which she did win, by about the predicted margin.

“in some cases polls identified her support as 98%.”

That wasn’t her support, per se, but rather her probability of winning with a lead of that size. Nate Silver’s prediction was about 80% probability of a Clinton win on election day, which is to say, about 1 time in five, his model spit out a Trump win. Again, not incompatible with what happened (He did not take a single EC vote past 273 by more than 1% – the election was decided by about 80,000 electors in three states, statistically negligible) – it was just that one time out of five.

Nicholas Conklin no it is just lefties who spout nonsense. We know polls are very open to error.

People only support polls and bring them up, when it supports their agenda. So if this poll had said that there was going to be red wave, then the poll would be valid.

F**k polls.
Bill Maher’s audience laughed and laughed when Ann Coulter said DJT would win the election.

Yeah, polls DO matter.
As long as the poll is taken on an election day.
The rest of them are … I don’t know … what’s the word?

Entertainment?
