Tonight I explain that Donald Trump's "Muslim ban" really isn't a Muslim ban — although when I tried to explain this to some "anti-fascist" demonstrators outside the U.S. Consulate in Toronto, they didn't want to hear the facts.
In fact, there were a lot of things they obviously didn't understand, such as my right to be there and report on the protest.
I was shocked and ecstatic when a gentleman from CTV chimed in and told them that, yes, The Rebel is allowed to be here, too.
I made several attempts to engage with the crowd, which were were not so successful.
It’s really hard to take these people seriously when they can’t engage in discussion, they don’t really know what they’re protesting, and their arguments almost always devolve to calling people "racists."
But maybe things were different in America:
To find out, I'll introduce you to award-winning journalist Tim Pool, who was on the ground at the JFK airport protests. Wait until you see what sort of reactions he got there.
